Two pen pals who began writing to each other 51 years ago have had an emotional first meeting.
Philip Glynn, now 66, from Newtown, Powys, started writing to Judith Baca, 64, in Ontario, Canada, when he was 15.
They began in 1955 with air-mailed letters, which dwindled before long to a couple a year, before e-mails revived their correspondence recently.
