You don't get to see a car fly out of the Marina Towers parking garage and plummet into the Chicago River every day.
The spot culminated with the car plunge, with the crew using a pressurized air hose to vault a driverless 1987 Olds Cutlass into the river.
The crew repeated the plunge about an hour later.
And each time the car hit the water, the crowd -- many documenting the stunt on their cell phone cameras -- let out a rousing cheer.
"Does this happen all the time in Chicago?" asked James Dando, a tourist who said he was from Toronto. "It's just something you don't see every day."
