Countdown to the Apocalypse: Scientists Change Doomsday Clock

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,244140,00.html

The end of the world may be drawing a bit closer.

Scientists on Wednesday changed the time on Chicago’s Doomsday Clock two minutes closer to midnight, or the apocalypse, based on what they said is the “most perilous period since Hiroshima and Nagasaki,” during dual announcements in London and Washington, D.C.

There was a poll on AOL the other day, as to how much longer people thought the earth would survive, and a high majority of the people who responded, voted for less than 1,000 years, which was the shortest period available in the poll.

Don't these scientists have anything better to do than keep adjusting a clock
It hasn't been changed in a long time.

I just went and looked it up- 2002 is the last time it changed.

They have an interesting web site, I was just there a couple of weeks ago. It's probably pretty busy today, though.

Well, ya never know when that's why I try to keep my house in order. LOL At least the best I know how.
