The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department is searching for a woman who has unexpectedly gone missing.

Fourty-two-year-old Jill Alamo was last seen by a neighbor at her home on the 2400 block of Gwen Drive on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 7 p.m. She didn't come into work the next Monday and her family hasn't heard from her either.

Alamo is a Hispanic female, 5' tall, weighing 120 pounds. She has brown eyes and shoulder-length hair. She also has a "raspy" voice.

Uh Oh. I'm waiting for the "the last person to see her was her husband/ex-boyfriend/boyfriend" next.

Hopefully she just ran away because she needed a break and will be located alive and well.

Ah, after watching the video...friends and family saying she's dedicated to her friends and family and wouldn't just run off and leave her 4 children. Her little grandchild spoke on the video and it just broke my heart.

Good thing is the detectives have a theory as to what happened.

I bet we do too.

On November 8, 2007, at 4:38 p.m. Sacramento County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call from a woman who said she had found the body of a woman lying in a ditch located in the 9900 block of Elder Creek Road. When the deputies arrived paramedics were on scene and had pronounced the victim dead. It was obvious the woman had been dead for some time.
