I have never requested anything. But I have offered lots. And I have seen requests as large as a boat be filled. Just last week a lady gave away a working stove, fridge, washer and dryer because she got new ones. It is so worth a try. You never know if someone might have one they don't use, but don't want to toss out. They might just prefer to give it to you.
