Missing person alert

ENNIS – Ennis police are asking the public’s assistance in locating a 42-year-old male.

According to a missing persons report filed Feb. 18 with police, George Lee Frazier of Ennis has not been seen since 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17.

“Mr. Frazier’s family said that Frazier said that he was going out for a little while and a friend was going to pick him up,” detective Sgt. Mike Hopson said. “Frazier has not contacted family or friends since he left his residence.”

Frazier is described as a black male; 5 feet, 11 inches tall; 195 pounds in weight; with black hair; and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue jacket and either a blue or black cap.

Anyone with information on Frazier’s whereabouts is asked to contact detective Sgt. Dorinda Clark or detective Sgt. Mike Hopson at 972-875-4462.

Ennis police and the Freestone County Sheriff's Department were investigating who dumped the body parts of a 42-year-old man in two North Texas lakes.
George Lee Frazier, 42, of Ennis, was last seen by his wife as he left home to visit a friend the evening of Feb. 17, Ennis police said. She later reported him missing.
"He didn't contact any of his family through all of it," said Detective Sgt. Mike Hopson "He was real faithful about talking with his family."
Police began to investigate the possiblity of foul play, but never found any leads as to Frazier's whereabouts.
On March 1, boaters discovered a leg that washed up on the shores of Bardwell Lake outside of Ennis, police said.
On April 5, a man working in his yard near the Freestone county side of Richland Chambers Lake found a man's head and torso that had washed ashore.
The body parts have since been identified as belonging to Frazier.

Investigators suspect that Gloria Aiken, 47, killed George Frazier, 42, in Ennis. An Ellis County grand jury indicted her last week...

Some of Frazier’s remains were found in Bardwell Lake in Ellis County, police say. More remains were later found at Richland Chambers Lake in Freestone County.

U.S. marshals arrested Aiken at her home in South Carolina, where she is being held while she awaits extradition to Ellis County.

Former Ellis County Detention Officer Gloria Priscilla Aiken will be spending the next 12 years behind bars in connection with the death of her husband, George Frazier. Aiken accepted a plea agreement Friday in the 40th Judicial District Court on the charge of manslaughter. She was initially accused of murder.
