AUBURN, N.S. (CP) - It's not unusual for a few students to miss classes on any given school day.
But, earlier this week, the parents of all 850 students at a high school in Auburn, N.S., got a call telling them their children had not shown up for classes. Vanda Dow, the attendance secretary at West Kings District high school, is blaming the mistake on a bug in the automated attendance system.
