I guess he's admitted he's been a client....I'm sick of these married guys embarrassing their families in this manner.

NEW YORK - Gov. Eliot Spitzer has told senior advisers that he had been involved in a prostitution ring, the New York Times reported Monday.

This might be the ring mentioned in the article above:

Federal authorities arrested four people Thursday on charges of running an online prostitution ring that serviced clients in New York, Paris and other cities and took in more than $1 million in profits over four years.
The ring, known as the Emperor’s Club V.I.P., had 50 prostitutes available for appointments in New York, Washington, Miami, London and Paris, according to a complaint unsealed on Thursday in Federal District Court in Manhattan. The appointments, made by telephone or through an online booking service, cost $1,000 to $5,500 an hour and could be paid for with cash, credit card, wire transfers or money orders, the complaint said. Saying he might have been a client. At least he wasn't running it!

He's a democrat. He's automatically forgiven.
Expect this story to die quickly.

Mr. Spitzer, a first term Democrat who pledged to bring ethics reform an end the often seamy ways of Albany, is married with three children.
Just last week, federal prosecutors arrested four people in connection with an expensive prostitution operation. Administration officials would not say that this was the ring with which the governor had become involved.
But a person with knowledge of the governor’s role said that the person believes the governor is one of the men identified as clients in court papers.
The governor’s travel records show that he was in Washington in mid-February. One of the clients described in court papers arranged to meet with a prostitute who was part of the ring, the Emperors Club VIP on the night of Feb. 13.

Heck, it's not like he tapped his foot in a restroom

New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer scheduled an abrupt announcement Monday from his office as news reports were breaking that the governor told staffers he was involved in a prostitution ring.

Spitzer, who was especially tough on corporate crime as New York attorney general, told his staff Monday that he was involved in the ring, according to The New York Times' Web site, citing an anonymous administration official. No further details regarding his involvement were immediately available.

There is going to be a press conference held soon.

I was living in NY until recently. He campaigned under the slogan of living on the corner of "Integrity and Honesty Lane," or something ridiculous like that. He is under investigation for other misdeeds besides this.

I'm laying money that he doesn't resign.

Wow! I'm shocked! He is expected to RESIGN!! I hope that they bring charges for the other things that they are investigating.

Well, heck if all they have are text messages, seems like he could say it wasn't him texting. It was a set-up! :D

I wonder who else will be on the client list.
