A “wannabe gangster” was convicted today of shooting dead a pregnant neighbour in a cold-blooded execution following a doorstep row.

An Old Bailey jury took three hours to find Thomas Hughes guilty of murdering Krystal Hart, 22, on Good Friday last year. He was jailed for life with a minimum term of 30 years.
There were cheers from the public gallery as the verdict was delivered.

IMO, he should rot in prison until the end of his pathetic days.

no, there is no DP in the UK.

and it sounds as though his girlfriend should be off the streets for the rest of her life too.

after stabbing a woman in the neck with a screwdriver in 1997, he should have been put away for good then

I agree. Lock him up and throw the key away. This is one violent guy.

If no DP, then he needs LWOP! SCUM!
:furious:

There's no LWOP under English law either, there is Life but it is not a life sentence, there is a "whole life tariff" which means for the rest of there lives,

but there are only about 30 - 40 (maybe a few more) who have that sentence at present

Well, IMO they need to impose that sentence more!
