Police in Easton, PA got a break in the case of a woman murdered in 1978. Virginia Morrell was found murdered in her apartment naked and her wrists tied behind her back. Masking tape smothered her covering her mouth and nose. At that time Robert White and his wife lived across the hall from Virginia. This guy only SIXTEEN days later was arrested for trying to rape a waitress in the bathroom of her work. His sex crimes just went on and on after he moved to Virginia. Robert White, Jr. pleaded guilty in Northampton County Court Wednesday afternoon to raping and murdering a woman inside her apartment in Easton more than 30 years ago. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole, avoiding a possible death sentence had he been convicted by the jury of killing Virginia Morrell, 21. Wednesday was the third day of testimony.

I really like it when they get these old cases solved. May this suffer hell while in jail!
