Ashley Revell, a 32-year-old Londoner, said he was worth about 75,000 pounds ($138,000) after he sold everything in

We are going in May as well!
Leaving on the 1st, coming back on the 5th. Staying at the Mandalay Bay. When are you going?

To be honest, I'm not sure. Going with friends and they said for me to pick between the Bellagio, New York, New York or Caesars. I said I didn't care, so they just picked one.

Will do!
Actually, I don't even gamble when I go, my husband does. I just like the whole atmosphere of Vegas, the night life, shows, shopping, being pampered. Thank God for my parents, my mom is going to take care of the baby while we are gone. We are taking him on a Disney cruise later in the summer, so this mini-vacation is much needed (he is 3, and the "terrible 2's" are still not over).

Sounds like a blast!! We want to go on a cruise, but my kids are of the age that I don't need to be watching them 24 hours a day, but I'd still worry abou them falling over! LOL I think we're going to wait until they're a little older.

I've never even be inside the Flamingo. I think I'll check it out this time. We've got tickets to see a "male" dance review - cross dressers. I can't wait.

The show at the Tropicana?

Could be. LOL You see, Casshew. Its like this. The girls said "we're going to Vegas, wanna come?" I said "hell yes, how much money do you need to get me there." They told me and I wrote a check. I heard we were doing this show and there was talk about Elton John's or Celion Dion's show, but I hate her, so I vetoed her. I won't know much else until we get there! LOL

I hate Celine Dion too.... Elton is taking over for her in her theatre when she has a year long break - I am not sure if he started yet, but that would be something to see. Elton - not Celine! lol

I have seen many shows in vegas... Folies Bergere is a show with men dressed as showgirls it is at the tropicana....

Best show I ever saw was Sting at the Aladdin... Cher at Caesars Palace, Joan rivers at Caesars... oh and I saw Barry Manilow LOL - it was a good show except Marie Osmond opened for him..... I cold not get that song 'Paper Roses" out of my head for days.

Have fun... wish I was going with you.. let me know when your friends pick a hotel!

DP, I am surprised you are not helping with the arrangements LOL there are some really cool shows Mama Mia, Tina & Tonys Wedding, The thunder from down under... check it out!

Hee, Hee, this fellow reminded us of when we were on our honeymoon cruise, back in 1990. We had $20 left and about 24 more hours at sea. As we were walking out of the casino I told hubby why don't we just put the $20 down at the last roulet table and see what happens. What happened was we won $800! Great memory but we have never gambled again.
