Caylee Anthony General Discussion thread #135

AFter reading thru almost everything, I don't think there is 1 person that helped her with her murderous ways. I think she did this all on her own and covered it up all on her own. It just makes me sick that apparently she is going to get away with this. I am praying praying praying she doesnt. I almost think this was no accident either. Another Susan Smith that wanted to be rid of her baby so she could be free to pursue all her men without a kid around.

I am going to throw this one out there yet again: Cindy Anthony was the last known person to be seen from a verified independent source with Caylee on June 15th, 2008.

How do we reconcile that with statements from anyone from that time into the next day?

Do we believe Clint House that Casey was with Tony at his apartment on that evening/night? I do. If so, when did Casey come home? Early the next morning? Wee hours? Wouldn't someone have heard her come in?

Do we believe that George did not see Caylee the next morning eating breakfast/lunch, watching cartoons/kid shows, playing, and that Caylee stayed in the bedroom all that time with Casey until they left after 1:00 pm? Not so much here.

It could be that she tried to dig a hole but found it too difficult . . . I read a story the other day where an expert stated that women who dispose of a body either use water or a dumpster of some sort -- because they don't particularly enjoy digging a hole large enough to hide a body.
I think that's right. She only had the shovel for 45 minutes and she and the shovel were not dirty when she arrived back at the neighbor's. She probably took a couple of hacks and realized "this isn't going to work". I never believed that she took the shovel to break the lock -- there must've been something in the Anthonys' garage/house that could have accomplished that. It also shows that Casey was at the beginning of her lies and not as careful as time went on. Borrowing the shovel from a neighbor with the car backed into the garage of the house she did not live in was a mistake. But she got better by the day.

I keep going around in circles with this. The ZG thing is weird, too wierd. Then all of the 'friends' are using the same date June 9th. JG moves quits and moves. 'Old friends" are contacted. The car with the smell. All within the same time frame.

I think the reason Clint saw Caylee on the 9th & Tony didn't was because Tony had a late class "Lab" that day & Casey & Caylee came by & left before Tony got home

I'm not sure but I'll try to find where I read that

This has been nagging at me since I read it earlier this afternoon. Tony's car was towed from his apt to an auto repair shop on June 9. Sect #3, Page 77

If you have a queasy stomach, PLEASE DO NOT READ THIS.

I really hate to be morbid, but the documents that were released last night leave little wiggle room.

The towyard manager said that when he opened the trunk, flies flew out and there were maggots inside.

A trunk is a sealed environment. Flies will not attempt to enter something like a closed, sealed trunk to lay eggs on a pizza box. Even if that pizza box had pizza in it, it just isn't going to happen. Think about the times you've left a half-eaten hamburger on the floorboard of your car. (I'm guilty of this...commuting to work, high-stress job, forgot about the half Big Mac I left in the car for a week.) Think about the Taco Bell bag you left on the back seat...people with kids will admit that we've occasionally left food in the car and forgotten to remove it.

Sometime in their life cycle, those flies entered that trunk with Caylee's body.

I believe that Caylee's body was stored outside somewhere...somewhere that flies could have laid eggs on the corpse. It could have been stored there for as brief as several hours or as long as several days.

Casey worried that the body would be found wherever she left it. Or maybe she knew the dumpster-emptying schedule for the waste company in Orlando. At any rate, she went back to remove the body from the place she had left it, and she put it in her trunk.

Possibly, the corpse stayed in the trunk from the time she retrieved it until the second time she dumped it. The second dumping of the corpse could have been done on the evening of the 26th, early AM hours of the 27th (the time window when her car was left at Amscot, parked by the dumpster).

When she loaded the decomposing corpse into the trunk the second time, fluids leaked out. Clumps of hair fell out. Possibly decomposing flesh detached from the body. Decomposing flesh with maggots already hatching.

When she removed the body from her trunk (to possibly place in the Amscot dumpster), some of those pieces of flesh with maggots were left behind, possibly on the white garbage bag in the trunk.

This would explain why there were flies and maggots in the trunk when the towyard manager opened it.

Let's look at a generalized life cycle of the species of flies that assists in decomposition of a body (if we knew the exact species, we could be less generalized in the life cycle):

From egg to larva (maggot) is 2-5 days. Until day 5, the larvae are feeding on the body.

The larvae move away from the body to become pupae, and are adult flies on day 19 or 20. Adult flies feed on body fluids, mate immediately after emergence, and lay eggs within two days of emergence...and the cycle begins again.

So, to summarize this:

Day 1 - eggs laid.

Day 2 - eggs hatch.

Day 2 to 5 - larvae move into and around the body, feeding.

Day 6 to 19 - pupa stage, no feeding on corpse, mature flies will emerge from the hard case.

Day 20 - adult fly emerges, feeds.

Day 22 - adult fly lays eggs on corpse.

Therefore, the flies that were found in the trunk were second generation flies, as were the maggots, because the car sat sealed at the towyard for 16 days. The second generation had already emerged and begun laying eggs, which had hatched into maggot staged larvae.

I can't wait to see what a forensic entomologist will reveal about this case. I think that the transport of the corpse can be nailed down to within a couple of days using the life cycle of the flies that flew out of the trunk on July 16th.

Good summary QT.......this sack of trash forced me out of 'lurk mode', so that I could post.......Sadly it looks like it will end up playing a key role as to what/when happened to Caylee........hopefully maybe even to the WHERE is Caylee..

Yes,I would like to know why Tony's car was towed..anyone?

Jeepers...no wonder the girl got rid of Caylee... that was interfering with sleeping with TonE (new boyfriend), Ricardo (old boyfriend), and Tony (deputy) all while during at least the end of May!!!

And good ole' Jesse introduced them.

Article about deputy getting fired for lying about relationship with Casey.

She does seem to have a thing for young cops that can't keep their gig on the force. What a dumbass to lie about someone in a major investigation. Though I bet they got that little tidbit from Jesse. I want to read the docs they haven't released!

How many more people that have brushed (Well this guy more than brushed up against her)... against Crazey will be have their lives f'ed up before this is over. JB better hope he doesn't regret bringing her into his circle. Toxic.

But, see, I just don't see her as sitting in jail taking the rap for her Mom or Dad. She was saying that her dad was cheating on her mom, she was going to take over the house note since they were moving out. She isn't really the loyal daughter type, I think she would have said long ago "I left her with Mom".

WOW.. Hard enough to keep with all the lies from Casey, but even harder to keep up with all the men she was involved with.. GEEZ.. My question is what WTH did she tell these guys for them to get involved? GOSH

She is 22, passably attractive, and without any judgement attached to it sleeps around. It isn't hard to get a 22 year old mans attention for 4-6 weeks which seems to be her average. My husband has a crude term for the novelty wearing off and realizing a chick is annoying, but I will spare you.

I’m with you. There are very few things we know to be facts:

- the last known sighting of Caylee Anthony by anyone outside her immediate family was made by nursing home employees on Sunday, June 15th

- the Pontiac Sunfire being driven by Casey Anthony was towed from Amscot on Monday, June 30th

- the 911 calls were made on July 15th, and Casey was arrested on July 16th

What other events can be independently confirmed?

ETA: Casey was photographed at Fusian on the night of June 20, 2008
