Welcome to the Office of the Victim Advocate (OVA) website. OVAs services are grounded in two separate but equally important foundations. First, Pennsylvanias Crime Victims Act legislates post-sentencing rights and services for victims of crime in the Department of Corrections and the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole. Second, the voices of victims have provided the inspiration and the framework for the development of the operations of the OVA and all of its program offerings.
Victim/Witness Services is a special program of The Office of the District Attorney. Victim/Witness Services provides information, support and advocacy to victims of crime and to witnesses for trials.
