Identified! NE - Lincoln, body found in park, Oct'08 - Dustin Jeune

Had to read this, and was praying it was NOT Pioneers Park! My family lived in Lincoln in the early 40's. Used to go to that park and had such a wonderful time. All the memories!!! The world has really changed.

I can't find any missing in any of our threads who would fit that. I'm always surprised if we've overlooked anyone missing.

There are two young men missing from several months ago that are in states very near to the Lincoln area, one is Brandon Swanson, and the other one is another young man from somewhere in Iowa. However, at this time it could be anyone male or female of any age, so maybe they have a pretty good idea of who it might be already, or they may have even found identification with the remains.

Brandon is from Marshall, Minnesota north of Lincoln, and the other one is Ben Roseland from Clinton, Iowa which is west of Lincoln.

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Authorities have identified a body found in a creek near a Lincoln park as that of a missing Lincoln man.

Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner on Tuesday identified the man as 21-year-old Dustin Jeune.

Jeune had been reported missing by friends Sept. 19. Wagner says those friends were with Jeune in the general area of where his body was found. A deputy and 1 of Jeune's friends had searched the area previously and had not found anything.

Two men walking dogs discovered Jeune's body on Sunday.

Jeune's cause of death has not yet been determined. Investigators are awaiting toxicology and other test results.

Authorities say Jeune's death was not from natural causes.
