ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) -- Punctuated by a rendition of "Lean on Me," sung by George Anthony, grandfather of missing Orlando toddler Caylee Marie, dozens showed up for a candlelight vigil on Sunday evening.

"Bounty hunter Leonard Padilla, who organized the search by divers, has left Central Florida to return to California. However, Padilla said he plans to return to Central Florida later to continue the search.

Meanwhile, the Kid Finders Network is working hard to find Caylee. George and Cindy Anthony spent the weekend at the group's headquarters on Goldenrod Road handing out flyers and other information about their granddaughter."

"A spokeswoman for a missing-children network said she will work on behalf of the family of missing 3-year-old Cylee Marie Anthony after allegations last week that their former representative was cashing in on the media firestorm ignited by the child's disappearance.

Michelle Bart, who has been representing the Kid Finders Network in the case of the missing girl, said she was asked by the group to work on behalf of the Anthony family as well."

Cindy Anthony tells WESH she's not writing a book

"What's up with Cindy Anthony? The story keeps changing.
"I'm not writing a book. I don't know where people get stuff," the mother of Casey Anthony told WESH-Channel 2 in a report Sautrday.
The stuff comes from Cindy Anthony. WFTV-Channel 9 on Friday reported that Cindy plans to write a book about the story of missing granddaughter Caylee Anthony. "She [Cindy] told us no matter what happens in the end, she is expecting to write a book about the family's ordeal," Kathi Belich reported."

Padilla told News 13 he has been contacted by a company that is willing to fund the search effort if Padilla is willing to give them exclusive rights to film the search effort.

The bounty hunter said he has not made a final decision on if he is willing to take the offer.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Bounty hunter Leonard Padilla has left Central Florida. Eyewitness News spoke with Padilla Monday morning to confirm that he's back in California where he says he will take a lie detector test.

Padilla also said he'd like to send divers into the water again later this week, but the divers have to wait to get permission from the park.

Baez should get back to defending drunks where he has a chance to win, too. Cindy, SHUT UP. You just make yourself look worse and worse. Morgan is a respected attorney. Baez has an office and a website full of lies. Which attorney would you want representing you?
 
News 13's Kelly Cook just reported that LP is considering a deal from "a company" that has offered to infuse his search efforts with $200k, IF he allows them exclusive filming access/rights to his search.

Morgan told WESH 2 News that the countersuit obligates Anthony to give a deposition or drop the suit.

On Friday, Casey's attorney, Jose Baez, filed a counter-claim lawsuit. Baez contends that Fernandez-Gonzales filed the lawsuit "to harass and embarrass" Casey and that John Morgan is attempting to "generate publicity for his law firm."

as someone who works for an ambulance chaser, I resent that! we are certainly capable of handling other (non-frivolous) cases while we're chasing ambulances. ;)​
