Cops seek further evidence of Caylee

Investigators on Saturday continued to scour the site near the Anthony home where an Orange County water-meter reader stumbled across the remains earlier this week of a small child who may be Caylee Marie Anthony.

"They plan on being there all day today and probably well into tomorrow," deputy Carlos Padilla, a spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff's Office, said Saturday afternoon.

wftv orlando is reporting live from the scene of the remains discovery.

They are reporting that LE has just informed them that they had expected to wrap up their investigation at that scene, today.
But they now anticipate they will be there for several more days.

This info is not yet available on their website but should be there shortly.

Anthony family attorney Brad Conway arrived at the Anthonys' Hopespring Drive residence at 1:30 p.m. to meet with his clients.
At the nearby crime scene, neighbors and onlookers gathered and the makeshift memorial to Caylee continued to grow with flowers, teddy bears and other trinkets.

People came at a constant flow to the memorials for Caylee at the site and at the Anthony home.

"I just kind of think it's really sad and unfortunate," a person at the memorial said. "And it's a way to pay my respects by coming out here."

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- Cindy and George Anthony are at home on Hopespring Drive this afternoon after attending Sunday services at Eastside Baptist Church.

FOX 35 was the only crew at the Conway Gardens Road Church this morning, where the Anthonys' pastor prayed for hope.

This afternoon the Anthonys' attorneys Brad Conway and Casey's attorney Jose Baez are inside the Anthony home, which investigators declared a crime scene earlier this week after a child's skeleton was found Thursday less than a half mile away.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- All weekend, two official sources who spoke to WESH 2 News on the condition of anonymity, said they have been recovering more human remains in the wooded area along Suburban Drive near the home of missing Caylee Anthony.

According to one investigator, at least two dozen bones have been discovered so far, in addition to a skull with light long hair consistent with a female child.

Investigators said they're still trying to determine why the child's mouth was taped shut with duct tape. At this point they said they do not believe this was meant to look like the child was killed by a kidnapper.

Conway says his clients are trying to remain optimistic, but they&#8217;re coming to terms that Caylee&#8217;s remains were found in this wooded area near their house. &#8220;They&#8217;re trying to deal with this the best way they can, they would like privacy, they would like the public to understand what they&#8217;re going through, and to be left alone.&#8221;

Friday morning, investigators collected evidence from the Anthony&#8217;s home. Conway says investigated left the place in a mess, but that George and Cindy didn&#8217;t have any concerns over what was seized.

Bart Out As Family Spokeswoman

Michelle Bart announced she will no longer be the Anthony's spokeswoman. Bart made the announcement Sunday night at Eastside Baptist Church. It's the same church where family members and supporters normally held weekly candlelight vigils for Caylee Anthony. However, this week's vigil was cancelled.

George and Cindy Anthony's new attorney Bradley Conway will now be the family's primary spokesman.
