Quote of the Day - Looking back on the Madeleine case

Posted: 07 Jan 2009 01:46 PM CST

“The disappearance of Madeleine McCann, the English three-year-old child that was on holidays in Lagos, “is a very badly told story”, a source at the Polícia Judiciária in Portimão told DN. The statement reflects the authorities’ doubts concerning the “confusing” depositions that were made by witnesses throughout the day, yesterday.”

Quote of the Day - Looking back on the Madeleine case

Were the parents of the little girl that disappeared in Praia da Luz negligent by leaving her asleep, alone with her siblings?

Of course they were. Parents should never leave a child alone at home, under no circumstances whatsoever and no matter how briefly.

Quote of the Day - Looking back on the Madeleine case

"Kate said the shutters of the room were smashed. Madeleine was missing. It looks as though someone had gone straight past the twins to get to her."

"Gerry told me when they went back the shutters to the room were broken, they were jemmied up and she was gone," said Mr Healy. "She'd been taken from the chalet. The door was open."

Someone should have the PJ photos of the shutters online, next to every one of these quotes about the shutters being "smashed."

I feel sorry for all the people that had to choose between believing their family members and friends and the foreign police. The McCanns sold these lies to their own family and friends just to save themselves.

I'm sure they convinced themselves it's what the family would have wanted, so they spared them that choice.

Here are some pictures of the (broken, smashed, jemmied) shutters I have collected Tex:

Quote of the Day - Looking back on the Madeleine case

"If that situation had been of an abduction, it would have been terrible for the child. Because if that child were to be sold, or something else... She was as good as... it was her death sentence. That situation, that day, advertising that photo, was simply the death sentence of that child."

Carlos Anjos, President of the PJ's Union ASFIC in : 'Prós e Contras', RTP1, September 10, 2007

Oh, those are broken "jemmied" shutters all right. Pathetic!

I've always wondered why the McCanns used the excuse of "not showing emotion because they were advised to not do so by expert" when they published the photo and detailed Maddie's unique eye appearance--against the advice of experts.

Quote of the Day - Looking back on the Madeleine case

“The local policeman was doing very little. The area was not cordoned off for hours and hours. Kate and Gerry [were] frustrated at the lack of activity. [The police] tried to downplay the enormity of it and said Madeleine had perhaps wandered off. That is the most ridiculous suggestion.”

Philomena McCann, Madeleine's aunt, in: The Sunday Times, May 6, 2007

Quote of the Day - Looking back on the Madeleine case

“Jenni: And how will you deal with the guilt that will probably stay with you forever of having left Madeleine alone?

Kate: Well, I have actually come to terms a little bit with... with that, Jenni, I mean, you know... I know the, errm, I know the situation that we were in that night and uh, I've said all along, I didn't feel I was taking a risk. Errm, yeah, I... I do feel desperately sorry I wasn't with Madeleine at that minute when she was taken.”

Quote of the Day - Looking back on the Madeleine case

"We will be staying on Portugal for the immediate future and are determined to come home with Madeleine.

Staying in the Algarve also makes it easier to stay in touch with the Portuguese polce, this is particularly important with the investigation being so active. We have regular meetings and calls to keep abreast of developments."

Gerry McCann, in his blog, on 30.06.2007

Quote of the Day - Looking back on the Madeleine case

"When I was praying I started thinking of all the things that were happening. There were lots and lots of ideas in my head and how we could make things better and I was really feeling very down and not sure which way to proceed. I had this mental image of being in a tunnel and instead of the light at the end of the tunnel being extremely narrow and a distant spot, the light opened up and the tunnel got wider and wider and went in many different directions. I talked to you [Kate] about it and said, ‘I am not prepared to pursue one path. We are going to do everything in our power to influence things.'

Quote of the Day - Looking back on the Madeleine case

“I’m analyzing the process to see if it is worthwhile to give some impulse to the process, that is, to request the opening of the instruction or to advance to a hierarchical superior at the Public Ministry”, Rogério Alves said in Portimão yesterday. The deadline for the instruction in this case ends on September 20.

Rogério Alves, McCanns legal representative in Correio da Manhã on August, 6 2008

Quote of the Day - Looking back on the Madeleine case

How did that premonition of yours about the Maddie case happen?

"On the 5th of May, upon returning from a spiritist meeting in Madeira, right after going to bed, but before falling asleep, at around midnight, an extraordinary thing happened to me for the first time in my life: I saw the image of a little girl that must have been around 4 years of age, with blond, shoulder-length straight hair, blue eyes, very disturbed, visibly unable to understand what was happening to her, accompanied by a female being of great beauty and great spiritual standing… Then, other images appeared, related to what had happened to her: I saw a strongly built man, blue eyes, somewhat balding and with blondish hair, brutally raping that girl and then strangling her with his hands, throwing the cadaver into a lake."

Did you reach any conclusion through those interviews with Leonor and João Cipriano?

"I was confronted with two different states of mind: Leonor was shocked about what had happened to her daughter; João displayed no remorse. It is curious that the first time that I sat down in front of him, I saw streams of blood running down his face, as if he was guilty over his niece’s death."

Marcos Aragão Correia, Leonor Cipriano lawyer, alleged medium, hired by team McCann via Metodo3 in O Crime on December, 4 2008

Quote of the Day - Looking back on the Madeleine case

“But I can’t talk to you about the details of what happened. I live under threat from the Portuguese—if I do talk—of two years’ imprisonment. It seems to be the same sentence as disposing of a child’s body.”

Quote of the Day - Looking back on the Madeleine case

"It's not about us, you know, we were bobbing back and forwards several times and I wanted to see the kids so.. you know, it's not about us. You know, I think that the problem is it's a predator basically who's been watching us, which gives you the shivers anyway, and broken into the apartment and taken Madeleine out of her bed."

Kate McCann, in: Panorama BBC, on 19.11.2007

THE 3 ARGUIDOS ......."It regularly appears to be an outrageous vipers nest of sad people, many of whom have had brief cyber-existences here."

How the Madeleine McCann Story Was Hijacked By web Trolls

THE 3 ARGUIDOS site is probably the strongest of the allegedly Madeleine McCann dedicated sites. I have no access to it nor seek any since it regularly appears to be an outrageous vipers nest of sad people, many of whom have had brief cyber-existences here. It has attracted an interesting group of supporters and helpers and we should genuinely wish them well. They are the Jerry Springer end of the coverage.:crazy::crazy:

And this opinion is significant because?

Right. An opinion, nothing more, nothing less, and by the way, I believe we've already heard it.

It's amazing how threatened the media is by websites and forums over which they have no control and make no income.

Texana the thread is about looking back. And we've heard them all before. :)

Significant for "balance," or are only your views/opinions acceptable?

Check out the 3Arguido's for yourself as there too the significance will become obvious!
Check out what they claimed about Sean regarding Madeleine's hair! ......went on for eight pages!!

I would hope any fair minded person would want to check it out for themselves and not just blindly accept everything they are continually being fed from this sick site.

You might also want to check out "Anorak" too! hardly mainstream media.:waitasec: In fact they don't seem to like the media....but I think they dislike the 3Arguido's even more.
