I'm looking at Case #5 on this chart for Charles LaForest. Matching age frame, race and broken right leg bone. I can't find #5 John Doe or George in the Doe Network.

(Thanks again Picture-Snatcher for finding this chart)

<<George Laforest loved to fish and knew the area well . It was a gorgeous spring day , a sunny friday and 45 year old George headed out with his fishing gear , winston cigarettes ( he was reported to be a heavy smoker ) and a can of worms . It should have been the perfect afternoon . George had reportedly planned to go fishing with a neighbor but something had come up and the neighbor had to cancel but the day was so nice that George decided to go anyway . It was reported that George had been seen at the little grey camp on the cedar river in the Adirondack mountains of new york . It was an area he knew and loved .( His family had had a seasonal home in the area ) That would be the last time anyone had seen or heard from George .

On april 25 , 2006 George failed to show up for work and was then reported missing . A search began .Forest Rangers and Family members would find his truck in a parking area by the Cedar River off Pelon Road , where there is a popular swimming hole that George knew well . LaForest's cell phone, wallet , credit cards, debit card, several packs of cigarettes and a partially used can of worms were found inside his vehicle. An extensive search of the surrounding terrain turned up no indications of George's wherabouts or where he had gone . It was noted that not even a cigarette butt had been found . The search streched over 3 weeks and dive teams searched the swimming hole , river and nearby lake , like the land searches it turned up nothing .>>

<<Strangely the following october a tarp camp had been found in the woods that contained a pile of books . George had been known to love books but it is unclear if the authorities had ever been able to link this make shift camp to George .>>
