A lot of possibilities, but only the killer knows for sure.

I wonder about the internet provider sbtc. Not sure if that is the correct term....but you see sbtc on email messages. I do think it was suppose to represent a noun...what it is, is anyone's guess.

Well, I haven't stumbled upon any four word french proverbs, (but there's some good ones!) as of yet. SBTC, not a common grouping.

Also, no match to any french online chat acronymes
http://www.arobase.org/rediger/acronymes.htm

The arrangement of letters, SBTC, has a greater occurance in the english language.

It's funny you mention the reverse, CTBS, because I heard that the cops found an open Bible with CTBS in it...

Ya, thought I'd look for it in reverse in English, and all combinations in fr.

Socialiste, societe, Soeurs HA.

Never having posted in this forum, is it possible, I'm saying just a possibility, that the S at the beginning of the acronym was really a flourished J......JonBenetTakeCare.......

I found these on yahoo.fr;
www.sbtc.fr termite and wood treatments from Jambles in france
sbtc.sport.fr - beach tennis on la Reunion
www.sbtc.ch - a portail for Swiss bank services
www.sbtc.ca - vancouver based Co promoting ecological innovations with links to the Emirates.
A note on the use of acronyms in france, no capitals and no full stops/ periods in between letters. Also in internet speak they usually just shorten words eg bjr = bonjour.

Hi anne.
Ty for the info.

TY anne.

(I've been slowly working my way through a list of Saints, and I realized that saint Jean Babtiste, he's one of my favorites!)

Ya, grammar... so not my strong point. Never use it in real life.

But there is that difference in application between cultures. I was trying to remember all those rules, ha.

the period is used in some parts of Canada to separate, rather than the comma that is used in English: 10.500 -- 10,500
In France, however a space is used in replace of an Englisn comma to separate thousands eng 123,456 would become 123 456

I was taught punctuation as used in the ransom note in typing class at school in the mid-1980's and some of the textbooks used were from the 1960's.
I'm still looking for more insight on SBTC, but just keep getting results for staffordshire bull terrier clubs and southern baptists (even on french search engines)

IMO SBTC just stands for saved by the cross.
Just as most ppl choose a password that is something familiar to them,
Patsy chose it for the same reason.

I totally agree. I believe that Patsy AND Pam used that phrase alot....along with the word VICTORY. The RN was signed Victory! SBTC

Pam used the word victory...when she said, after Patsy died..."Patsy now has her victory".

So, I believe it meant...Victory! (because we are) Saved By The Cross.

In some religions...on Easter...you say..."He is risen"...to a person, and they say..."He is risen indeed". Kind of the same type of thing.

Hi Anne. Ty for the insight regarding grammar and typing; rn is constructed using that standard in form.
