Some of you may remember the story last summer of a strange creature that washed up on shore in Montauk NY. Now a second creature has washed up on shore in Long Island, NY.
He is a strange looking fellow - has extremities that would indicate it lives in water but it has the body of a mammalian type creature. It also has what looks like a beak.

There is a lot of speculation it is the creation made in the labratory on PLum Island where the ADC (Animal Disease Control) is housed and could even be the result of genetic modification.

There is also the obvious theory that it is all one big hoax. Either way it is interesting and it sure gets a lot of press. This is being reported all over the world today.

Yea PattyCake, Looks fishy to me. LOL In the video it looks like a human arm and hand. I bet it's some guy dressed up in some elaborate home made costume kind of like the fake film of Sasquatch running across the meadow! xox

Ohhh! that dead dog looking thing... That creeped me out.
 
I was checking out this story yesterday and found a link to some sort of science site. It was actually very intelligent and well thought out. This scientist said that both of the "monsters" are actually rotting raccoons. Which, I actually believe. The "beak" is actually nasal cartiledge and looks beaklike because of the angle of the picture. Of course, I can't remember the link. I'll have to go and find it.
 
I've no idea what it is and I didn't read all the links but this bit I noticed makes me wonder if the finders do in fact know what it is and if they know that a lab doing DNA tests would soon find out too but they want their money first.

We did not contact any authorities as from previous experiences; the carcass has been taken from the finders or mysteriously “stolen”. If this is a genetic mishap from Plum Island, we’d like to sell the remains to an independent lab for study.

Montauk-monster site has it's own little "horror" video made where they make like a girl and a guy got attacked by it. I smell an elaborate hoax, IMO... LoL
