SELDEN, N.Y. (AP) -- Parents in a Long Island school district received prank letters on official-looking stationery offering students a "Protection Package" of condoms and lubricants for the senior prom.
Mitchell Ross, principal of Newfield High, said the school has narrowed down the list of culprits and will get the police involved in the investigation.
"It's inexcusable, offensive and quite frankly demeaning of all individuals," Ross said.
The letters arrived in the mail this week and offered various birth control items and also said rooms would be available for interested students at the hotel where the prom will be held June 23
