OVERLAND PARK, KAN. - A 25-year-old who gave birth in her parents' basement has been charged with first degree murder in the death of her baby girl. Authorities said the baby was found wrapped in plastic in a refrigerator.

Alice Marie Zeorlin is still being held at the Johnson County Jail on 1st Degree Murder charges. Her next court date is 06/15/2010.

Too bad they couldn't hold her in a walk in freezer! I sure hope this tiny baby was dead before she put it in the refrigerator. Can't imagine going from somewhere so warm and safe to such cold. :furious:

Alice Zeorlin of Overland Park pleaded guilty in April to reckless second-degree murder for the death of the baby in May 2009.
