Until these "moms" start being held accountable for putting their children in danger, it will never change. At some point, they'll get the message that their childs safety is more important than having a sex partner. Maybe...
 
That is horrible, Alot of people say the kids mouth off to them is how the kids end up injured, looking at what these people do to the kids kinda lets you know these poor babys are only doing what there taught, with tempers that bad then obvious the surrounding people have attitudes that influence the kids. I'll never understand how anyone can be so heartless that child will forever be scared of dryers now.
 
I would love to see when these single mothers take on loser boyfriends the bio father or grandparents able to step in and take custody of the child without all the court/social services red tape nightmare. She'll lose her child support but too da^^n bad!!

MANCHESTER — A city man was sentenced to 10-to-40 years in state prison Thursday after pleading guilty to charges he choked and beat a 5-year-old girl, before locking her in a clothes dryer and spinning the appliance by hand, back in 2009.

Hillsborough County Attorney Dennis Hogan announced Thursday that Eric Zawadzki, 31, of Manchester was sentenced to serve 10-to-40 years at New Hampshire State Prison by Hillsborough County Superior Court Judge Gillian Anderson...

Zawadzki will serve a minimum of 10 years before becoming eligible for parole. He must register as an Offender Against Children for the remainder of his life, and will complete an anger management counseling program while in prison. He will complete further counseling upon release from jail, and is barred from contact with minors under age 16. Zawadzki also received an additional 10- to 30-year sentence that will be suspended for 10 years once he is released on parole.

Yes laws need to change to make it easier for grandparents to take children in these type situations.
