"Even the police have the Eric Dane nude tape on replay.

The LAPD has confirmed that detectives are investigating a DVD provided to them in July from an unnamed source who claimed it "contained images that could link celebrities engaging in illegal activity."

But before police could determine if a crime was committed, the tape leaked onto the Internet, the LAPD said in a statement."

From what I heard was on the tape, I wouldn't call it illegal activity (no one underage and no mention of drugs). Poor taste to film something like that, but not illegal.
 
there is a website showing the tape unedited. There appears to be a crack pipe in the video-which is how Rebecca Gayheart was busted in 2003 by tabloids IIRC. Pictures of her nude with a crack pipe. I can't link the site, but if you start with TMZ you will be able to find it pretty easily...

I saw an edited version of the tape (ED's manhood was blurred out but the women were shown topless). I didn't catch the crack pipe but there is a moment where RG says "Oh I have to sit down, I"m so high." They all look and sound completely wasted on the tape.
 
Ya think, rhg? I think it depends on what comes out of the investigation. If they don't come up with anything I think this will die out.

hmmm. i don't know. the producers fired isaiah washington for calling a cast member a gay slur... and i don't think having a 1) naked tape where one is 2) with more women than just his wife and 3) using illegal drugs would be acceptable either... goes directly to "character" and reputation. with a show as popular as GA, i'd imagine the producers and the network would want their actors as "clean" and wholesome as possible ??

One of the reasons there is an on going investigation is "to gather evidence that Kari Ann is running a "Hollywood Madam" "escort" service.

On the video she is seen with a credit card, phoning in a "charge" and approval for the charge.

The way she finds "clients". She goes to clubs, men hit on her, she tells them she has a boyfriend, but he can hook the guy up with a "hot women" for hire. Little does the "guy"' know that the hot women works for the "escort" agency that Kari Ann founded and is running.

Hence the police investigation.........it looks like, Eric and his wife "hired" Kari Ann for the drugged up three some.

These people seem like real winners to me. NOT.
 
Thanks CyberLaw. I haven't viewed the video; only heard what was on it. I hadn't heard anything about a credit card though. Gross.
 
I saw the unedited tape and it is incredibly boring, fwiw. BUT, the three of them do spend quite a bit of time talking about how high they are. Beyond that, the origin of the tape is an issue and how it got onto the web...cough, Mindy McReady, cough, cough given the fact that it had been "awarded" to Dane as property.

I am surprised at what it depicts regarding the marriage and the charecter of Dane and Gayheart to be honest. Not the threesome aspect (to each their own as long as everyone knows what is going on) but the drug use. It is sad to me- I don't watch Dane's show, but it would be an issue for me if I did I suspect.
