Murray, 22, formerly of 31 Lee Drive, Quarryville, was given a consecutive sentence of 26 to 60 years in prison Monday after pleading guilty in August to the third-degree murder and aggravated indecent assault of Karissa Shaub, his girlfriend's daughter, who died from her injuries at 3:15 a.m. June 15, 2004.

In addition to the jail time, Perezous ordered Murray to pay a $300 fine and restitution of $3,332 for expenses. He also ordered an additional $3,000 in restitution for a headstone. Though the assault on Karissa was not sexual, upon his release from prison, Murray must comply with Pennsylvania's Megan's Law statute and register his whereabouts with state police for the rest of his life.
