My fear: Kingsley and Wells connect to Blanding. A 20 minute or less drive has you to 295, and 95-North to Georgia and on up the coast, donwn to Deland (near Satsuma) and far south Florida. The other way on Blanding takes you to very rural areas-Middleburg, Green Cove, Palatka (Satsuma), or over to the Panhandle and easy access to states bordering Florida. So in the last 24 hours, she could be very far away.

"I have read on this site for a long time, but I used to only have AOL...I tried to sign up a couple of different times but couldn't because of the AOL address. Anyway, I am not sure of when I actually joined, but it was sometime this past summer, when Victoria Stafford was missing, but I am a member of another online sleuthing community, also. I live probably a million or more muffins away from Canada, but this was the only place I could actually find information other than what I found on the internet myself. But that's how I ended up here again, to finally join. So there may actually be a lot of people who just read and never post, but they feel like they belong because they have read everybody's posts for so long. That's how I felt, like I knew everybody."

Anothermom, I know just how you feel! I joined last fall after lurking here for about 5 years for the JBR case and only joined when there were CA docs posted in the Parking Lot that I was dying to read lol. It was a headache, because my bf has the only email addy allotted by our internet provider, and I had to actually pay $10.00 bucks for my own. But it was worth it.
It is true how you feel like you "know" people on here.
(Mew, we miss yew!)

I looked at the Indigo healing site and the information on Sean P. The area code is the right one for that part of Florida.

I had a great life by the all American standard, so I thought. Then one day at the age of 23, I was playing golf and thought I injured my shoulder, I was wrong. I found a lump in my collar bone and went to a doctor who misdiagnosed me. I immediately got a second opinion and was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma stage II. I underwent chemotherapy and radiation and almost died on several occasions due to complications from the medical treatments.

Orange Park Police Chief Jim Boivin told the Times-Union his agency notified the Sheriff's Office of the abduction attempt, but the investigating officer failed to report it to Grove Park Elementary. He said that should have been done.

"It just slipped her mind," Boivin said.

Boivin said his officers have kept an eye out for any suspicious blue Nissan SUVs matching the description of one used in the abduction attempt.

Grove Park is in the middle of a residential neighborhood and many students make the trek to school on foot daily. Somer Thompson, who is a second-grader there, disappeared after she was separated from her sister while walking home Monday afternoon.

As parents waited to drop their children off, investigators at the Clay County Sheriff's Office stopped everyone in the vicinity of the school, taking down names, making notes and showing them a picture of Somer.

Previous Incident Near Somer's Home Being Looked at Again

An attempted abduction that happened near Somer Thompson's home 10 days before she disappeared is being re-investigated.

The Oct. 10 incident happened around 12:30 p.m. Police say a blue, four-door sedan, possibly a Nissan, pulled up. A woman and two men inside tried to lure a 5-year-old into the car.

The girl's mother, April Boothroyd, says they told her daughter they were supposed to pick her up and take her home. Her daughter told them, "no."

At that same site, his quantum touch services are $150.00 an hour! Reiki is a bargain at only $90.00 ph. I know what I'm gonna be when I grow up.

from the five pm team coverage on Jax I gleaned this:

Somer was released from school at 2:50 by herself

she walked by herself for a half mile to the intersection of Gano where she met up with her two sibblings.

at this intersection... she was only four blocks from her home now.. and this is where the teasing took place and she walked off.

also noted was the fact that in between where she walked off and her home was the location... right smack in the middle of that last short bit of her walk home.....where the other attempted abduction took place ten days ago at the same time of day.

newscasters also said that on the six pm news (I am waiting on the video to be posted) they will have the 911 call from the first abduction.

another thing... on the five pm coverage they showed a car that "looks like" the car that the witness saw in the attempted abduction. It is a four dour sedan. blue playdough color.. it is not an suv

TQ should probably make her ms private-right after I get a few screenshots.

Somer left school at 2:50 p.m. that Monday, and was walking home from school with her twin brother, her 10-year-old sister, and some friends when she ran ahead of the group, toward her home.

Somer's siblings arrived home safely at about 3:05 p.m. without her and no one has seen her since.

Their mother's friend, Sean Patton, was at the house and asked the children where Somer was and they said she walked off.

Sean and the kids searched for Somer for an hour. when Somer's mother called, Sean told her Somer had not made it home.

She left work immediately and stopped at the Sheriff's Office on the way home to report her daughter missing.

The search included canine units, mounted police, dive teams and helicopters with heat-sensing technology.

Several police agencies, the FBI and local volunteers began searching the wooded areas in near where Somer was last seen.

Authorities have interviewed 57 registered sex offenders living in a three-mile radius of where the girl disappeared and plan to interview an additional 37 offenders in an expanded 5-mile radius.

Mahla said in addition to the search operation, officers had followed up on 80 of the 150 leads people have called into the sheriff's office.

That p****s me off , had it been her child that was almost abducted ... it would not have slipped her mind to notify the school .IMO

I cannot believe that we are again looking for a missing girl in Florida. This is so sad. The Mom's ms says she's a nursing student. I can only imagine what she is going through at this time. Makes me want to reach out and hug her. I pray they find little Somer soon.

So...if we go with the assumption that the previous kidnapping attempt is related to Somer's disappearance, we can speculate on the following (notice I said speculate...meaning we can discuss the pros/cons of these):

1. The kidnappers are "locals" meaning they live nearby the Orange Park area (since they returned to the SAME area rather than choosing another school).

2. They are comfortable with the area despite a failed kidnapping attempt earlier (you'd have to be REALLY comfortable returning to the same area again...did they know that nothing had been done after the first attempt?)

Anything else?
