Also, it was stated on the now-closed thread this is AD's mother. I'd like to know how that connection was made she uses aliases. :waitasec:

Good question...I'm not sure either.
Last thread the poster said this was AD's mom...I thought her name was listed as AS in obit, but poster says this is her....I must have missed something along the way???

What I think you saw was Carl and Priscilla Summers - I have seen AD's mother use AKA's for her name....Priscilla, Phyllis, Ann with Summers and Davis. Don't want to start rumors.

Is it known that AD's mother lives on AZALEA DR?

Normally when info is found whether it be something from the media or court records, we provide the link to support the information.
1. There was a discussion from the previous link about Aunt Carey being a guardian. I don't know how it is in NC or what kind of guardian she was. But, I had my adopted niece for awhile. She has Fetal Alcohol syndrome and my sister needed a break, so I had her live with me for a while.
My sister and I went to the school and I was made a school guardian. We just signed some papers the school had. I could get information on her grades and talk to the teachers, that kind of thing. It was no more than that. I was not her guardian in any other way.
2. Someone said that AD would qualify for childcare and education. Well, in my state which is considered to be really liberal with benefits, you cannot get childcare unless you are working, maybe full-time or going to school. It is almost impossible to go to education beyond high school. You can take a short CNA course or be working on your high school equivalency, but you must go to school full time and not be absent or you lose your benefits. They are very strict about it.
3. I have a male friend who paid the mother of his child support even though he had the child. She really didn't want the child, but the threat was always there that she would take the child back. So he paid her because what she really wanted was the money.
4. AD probably got benefits because of her other child. A lot of people that get welfare don't believe it when their cash assistance is over. They flounder around for awhile, living with friends, relatives, whatever until they use up their friend resources. Then the reality sinks in that there will be no money coming in ,and they start making different plans.
5. I think the poster that said that BL's "one night stand" did not mean that he only saw her once in his life is probably accurate. He probably knew her from whatever circumstances. I don't think she was a stranger.

I did notice for NC TANF, you can be on it for 2 years, then they kick you off for three, but you can go back on it, when that three year wait is over.

If AD was getting TANF when Shaniya was born, and got it for the two years after, then she would be in the ballpark area of coming off her three year waiting period.
Might have been what BL was waiting for. "Here, you can get the money for her now, you have no excuse, so just take her."

Stll cooking, nothing really new????
On page 23 of the 49 page document, number 11, it says that there is a five year limit. Then it's over, unless there are some special unusual circumstances such as a death or disability.
So I wonder what she was living on. She must have gotten something for the 7 year old. I think her options were over. Her five years were up.
