This is a frightening story out of Vancouver BC. It sounds as if the body was staged in some way to be found directly under the public art "Cathedral" structure. Another article stated that it is believed the person was killed where the body was found.

"Police say an autopsy scheduled for today will yield some clues to the identity of a body found at a North Vancouver park.

The body was found underneath the steel beams of an art sculpture called the Cathedral at Waterfront Park, west of Lonsdale Quay, at around noon on Saturday by a couple walking their dog.

Due to the trauma inflicted on the body, police have not been able to identify the gender or age of the victim.

Carr said the body doesn't appear to have been at the park for a great period of time as it had not yet begun to decompose."

A man found dead in North Vancouver's Waterfront Park last month was not murdered, according to a newly completed autopsy, contrary to suggestions made earlier by police...

Police have since established his identity, but will not release the name until they have notified next-of-kin...

Investigators have not said what had happened to the body to mask its gender, nor have they commented on the cause of death.
