According to Staubs, some cadaver dogs have been requested by an individual close to the family and another interested party. Both say the need for the dogs is to make sure all areas close by have been searched in the event law enforcement missed something. Those searches with the cadaver dogs could take place this week.

Most parties involved in the search for Haleigh, including law enforcement and Staubs, believe Haleigh is alive and well.

June, 2009 officers searched the grounds at the Baker County home of the child's maternal grandmother. They located animal remains, confirming information that animals had been buried on the land and ensuring that "we don't leave any stone unturned" in the ongoing search for the child, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Johnny Greenwood said this week
there currently are no plans for additional searches without credible information calling for one. And, absent new developments, a second meeting gathering investigators from different agencies working on the case also has not been scheduled.

Requests Made for a 2nd Search Near Haleigh's Home

The property in question is just through the wooded area behind the former home of Ronald and has a green trailer on in it. The man who lives in the trailer is reported to be a rent-free tennent of a landlord who has granted him permission to reside there.
It is this trailer that has psychics and some members of Haleigh's family convinced that the child's body might be buried there.
Cadaver dogs were near there and hit upon the dumpsters. I saw the dogs roaming through that wooded area,
but not on the property where the green trailer sits.
One relative who has been virtually silent for months said that if some level of satisfaction is not met in the next couple of days, that silence will likely be broken.

A comment Misty allegedly made about investigators needing to double-check a patch of ground marked by a single plastic rose in their search for, Haleigh Cummings,
has motivated a private firm to begin scouring the area this morning. "She said there was a place that was not searched very well and that we should look for a red rose, and she gave us the location," said Steph Watts, who recorded the sessions for EquuSearch.
"We went and we looked, and we found it, and the next day we took them (Putnam County investigators) back there," Watts said. "I don't think they are going to dig where the rose is and find the body, they are following up on every lead."
