Did they say the age of the brother in custody?

Did they say the age of the brother in custody?

They did not say. The wife of the brother who was killed was interviewed, but she did not say either. I'm thinking he is an adult though.

I don't know how many more of these atrocities I can stand hearing about.

It almost seems as if each new crime is more horrific than the previous one.

There is truly evil among us...

I am just speechless. God please bless and comfort this family and their friends in their time of need. They are all in my prayers. I hope the brother that did this never see's the light of day again.

"The child’s body had been decapitated and her head was found near the body."

:furious:

Words are hard to come by, but after glancing at the photo of the suspect posted above with that sick little smirk on his face, I would hazard a guess of drug-fueled madness and/or demonic possession.

Capital murder charge filed in Bellville massacre

BELLVILLE — A family dispute pushed Maron Thomas to go on a rampage marked by a fury so intense that he decapitated his 2-year-old niece with a machete after killing her and four other family members, Austin County investigators said Wednesday.

<snipped>

Investigators declined to elaborate on the nature of the household dispute, but said a family fight happened on the night of the killings.

“There was an ongoing internal situation within the dynamics of this family,” said Texas Ranger David Maxwell.

Thomas' sister, Ka'Tara Price, 24, of Houston, said she believes anger and Thomas' conversion to the Muslim religion influenced his actions. She said she is not aware of him suffering from any mental illness.

“It's anger and pure evilness,” Price said Wednesday night. “He's always been a very angry person. If he thinks he's right, he's right.”

Price said another family member told her that her brother had a disagreement with their mother before the killings, but she doesn't know what it was about.
