LAREDO, Tx.- Police officials are asking the community for their assistance in locating a California man that lived in Acapulco and is believed to be in this border town.
Family members of Guillermo Elmer Peeler Pinzon, 39, have asked local authorities to help locate him, who left Acapulco on a bus destined for Nuevo Laredo, with the intent of crossing to the American side.
The man is an American citizen, that left Acapulco on October 5th, 2009 and since then his family has not heard from him.
Peeler's family live in San Francisco, California and according to information given, the subject takes medication for his nerves and so they are concerned with his safety.
Joe Baeza, vocero en el Departamento de Policía, dijo que no se presentó un reporte oficial sobre la desaparición de esta persona, pero se hace un esfuerzo humanitario para ayudar a localizarlo.
Agregó que si alguien sabe sobre el paradero de Peeler o tiene información que ayude a localizarlo, puede llamar al Departamento de Policía de Laredo en el (956) 795-2800 y solicitar hablar con el investigador Mario Soria.
