TAMPA, FL -- The brother of former Carolina Panther Rae Carruth's hired hit man has been arrested after a deadly shooting rampage in Tampa.
Police have charged 33-year-old Andre Watkins with killing a woman, and wounding two men on Friday. They arrested him after a huge manhunt.
During a news conference Monday, Watkins' attorney confirmed that his brother is Van Brett Watkins who is in prison for shooting and killing Cherica Adams in 1999. She was the pregnant girlfriend Carruth.
