Judge Jeanine Pirro pops up in a lot of places, from “Today” to “Larry King Live” to Fox News Channel, to offer legal commentary. On “Today,” Pirro has been especially frank about the Casey Anthony case.
“It holds a lot of fascination,” Pirro says during a stop in Central Florida. “You have what appears to be an intact family, a lovely mother and a beautiful child. When you peel back the layers of the case, the prosecutor feels it’s dysfunctional family with a murderous mother. It’s a horrific murder that goes against the grain of everything parenting stands for. I tried more than my share of child-abuse homicides. This one is particularly horrible.”
