The police K-9 dogs were identified as Jimmy, a 7-year-old bloodhound, and Hector, a 4-year-old Belgian Malinois.

K9 officer Nelson Enriquez arrived at his home in Davie early Wednesday after completing his midnight shift and apparently left the dogs inside his vehicle. Investigators say the officer found the dogs around 7 p.m.

WTF Are you kidding me? He has been a K9 handler for 7yrs did he black out? How did he get out of his cruiser and not let his dogs out to pee or never think to feed them or anything???? I am so freaking angry!! I hope they charge him. Though I won't hold my breath judging from the two listed in the first link and the few that happened last year.
