WV - NEAL FALLS, suspected SK - LE seeking link to murders in IL, NV and OR

I recall that there is a woman from Michigan who disappeared in 2013 and is still missing. While the circumstances of her disappearance are totally different from the women that have disappeared from southern Ohio, I believe it should be looked into.

During the late evening of Friday April 26, 2013, Jessica Heeringa went missing from her job at an Exxon gas station convenience store in Norton Shores, Michigan. She was working the late shift all by herself that evening at the gas station.

Police officers were dispatched to the gas station around 11:15 p.m. that evening after customers called 911 to report entering the store to find no employees present inside the store. The cash register inside the store was untouched.

A witness at a nearby business reported seeing Jessica Heeringa walking out of the store and being forced into a minivan after getting into a struggle with a man. The Exxon gas station convenience store that Jessica Heeringa worked at did not have any security cameras at all inside or outside the store.

Jessica Heeringa also was a mother who had a small child when she disappeared.

A check with Google Maps revealed that it is 195 miles and a three hour drive from Butler, Indiana to Norton Shores, Michigan via Interstate 69 and U.S. Route 131.

If Neal met a bunch of prostitutes online, I imagine he communicated with some via his email address. I found one email address linked to him, oregonpines@msn.com. Using another technique, I found that Neal also has a yahoo email address, but cannot find out the exact address.

I've also found other information on Neal but I'm not sure how pertinent it is, so I won't post it publicly.

Not sure how helpful this is, but I googled "Oregon Pines" because it was an unusual email addy. Came up with Oregon Pines subdivision in Klamath County.

Good work there neurosleuth! Jessica was supposedly being forced into a white or silver van acoording to a post on page 3 of the first thread. I looked at the photos of NF's suburu van/suv and it could easily be mistaken for silver in the dark of night. I wonder what year, make and model NF's Subaru is. Anybody here have knowledge of subarus? The tires look dirty. Is it a 4 wheel drive, all wheel drive? Pics at link...

Also the convenience store where JH worked was off the interstate and there weren't any other businesses open on that side of the exit, except for a strip mall where the businesses had already closed. The other side of the exit is where the restaurants and businesses are. So with that said, it sounds like a desolate area. I always felt that JH was a crime of opportunity in that someone exited for gas and saw she was alone, no security cameras, and waited around to pounce on her at the right time as she was closing. I wonder what the last transaction at 10:55p was for and was it cash or credit? It was very near closing and she had to be going about completing her closing duties, taking out trash, cleaning the drink machines, etc.

It sounds like NF was very mobile. According to the obit for the elder falls that 1doctor posted, NF's relatives are in the NW, SW, MW so these may be some areas to sleuth missing or dismembered women. NF would have been 25 years old when his dad died. I wonder if that was a stressor that triggered his SK-ing.

Anyway, just thinking and typing out loud.

ETA There was no money found on NF. How was he getting by? Was he robbing his victims?
 
(WCHS) Officials in Charleston, West Virginia are looking into the background of a man shot dead by a woman he attacked Saturday.
Officials are trying to determine if Neal Falls is linked to a string of unsolved murders and disappearances across the country. The thing that intrigues me about the grainy image of the van in JH's case is that the tail lights wrap around to the side back fender like NF's Subaru. And there appear to be black doorhandles on the van in the grainy image like the Subaru. It's really hard to tell in those grainy images though.

Thank you mangosteen for the great article about JH. Glad to know LE is still working on her case. IMHO, NF bears more resemblence to Sketch than Brad Mason. Y'all watch the video in the link Mangosteen posted and stop it when it shows mugshot of BM.

As requested, here's side-by-side pictures NF and the MN suspect composite, and I also created side-by-sides of the van and NFs Subaru.

The minivan above is not a Subaru, in my opinion. I also feel it's a stretch to match NF photo with the composite.
 
Thanks bessie, and 1doctor! The jawline, throat, lips, crease below bottom lip and sandy blondish brown hair are what strikes me the most. The eyes are set too close together and the nose is too elongated in the composite. sketch compared to NF. However, LE was hesitant to release the sketch because there were apparantly differences between the eye witnesses and it was dark when they saw the suspect in the silver van.

ETA Just want to clarify. The minivan in question is in the background with lights on in the pic 1 doctor posted. Just don't want any to get confused with the parked minivan in the foreground of the pic.
 
This case is too complicated for me to follow with all the other cases I'm currently working. But if anyone digs up any connection to NY with this guy, can you please shoot me a pm? Thanks.

LOL! You've got it MK! It's great hearing from you. I've been out of touch the past few years caring for my ailing brother and mother so I'm a bit rusty on my sleuthing skills. I've not seen any evidence of NF being in the NY/LI area thus far. (although I am a bit suspicious about the two women dismembered Niagra Falls)
