These are my thoughts exactly. The blue card is useless if it can be obtained and waved around by a pedo who has never been caught.

It does stop those who HAVE been caught, but it's not enough.

Yes if you look under the studio name, I think you will find videos. They normally on put them up as the team not just one person, unless its a solo, even then its still under the dance school.
 
There's some serious sleuthing going on here. Just drank 3 cups of tea while taking in the posts since I last logged on.

Awesome digging on previous whereabout using sensis, ABNs. Disturbing there are recent arrests in the same area.

I imagine they used their animals for income, dog and horse breeding. Plus perhaps money laundering through the small businesses, it seems there were several at least. Some serious knowledge of book keeping would of been necessary.

Seems these deviants had a wide appetite and age was no barrier. 4y.o, 11y.o, 12y.o and now another 'teen' although not sure what harm was inflicted on this victim. Also other children in their care interviewed. Speak up, little ones - the world is listening!

Just want to say that Aussie school systems aren't always operating at functional levels, especially where multi level reporting comes into play. Tiah may have spoken to staff. Wheels turn slowly, get lost in red tape. Although they are meant to some schools dont have counsellors or nurses. I know first hand of a school who did not have a nurse for 6 months, then she was employed only a few hours a day. Cost cutting is on all fronts. Sounds like Tiahs concerns were readily dismissed by DOCS, a reputation as a difficult child, a run away and a liar. We've known kids to be publicly labelled as 'liars' to the entire school. Real concerns were not invesrigated or took months. My point is some of these kids really do fall through the cracks with high staff turn over, constant relief teachers and kids getting lost in the masses. The amount of admin work on teachers shoulders means genuine face to face time is limited. While each department is finger pointing the next government department I think Au state by state school systems warrant a light shined upon their part in this. Teachers are in demand. It's one of the easist degrees to obtain. Our schools are flooded with newly graduated under prepared teachers and volunteers - all you need is a BlueCard to apply 😨

Also did J & R choose the school for Tiah? Most likely catchment. Did they know the teachers? Usually the culture is built principal down. Not implying anything, just worth considering IMO.

To me it sounds like Tiah was desperate for help, her behaviour paints the picture of a child in distress, desperate to escape. Grandma says she could leave anytime but previous foster family says they couldn't get her back. Tiah was restricted.

I hope more Children are listened to. Let Tiahs death (and others we don't hear so much about) not be in vain.

RIP Tiah and strength to your Mum, Whanau and family. May your Angel Tiahleigh be forever dancing and shining light into the darkness.
 
I think Rick Thorburn was hoping for deviant sex with Tiahleigh. I wouldn't be surprised if he raped her before or after he murdered her. What a disgusting bunch of psychos that family are. Rapists and enablers.

Pony rides at Tiahs "birthday" party. I imagine it would of been one of R&Js. Another steady access to children. Drop off riding lessons, all day trail rides, dressage etc events and overnight camps for children are all typical in horsey crowds.

The Logan are is famous for it.

Judging by the other stuff that has come out about RT, my theory is that he was already harming Tiah. I think she was too terrified of him to tell anyone so she spoke out about the son instead, hoping to get help.

It breaks my heart that she told her friend's relative that she was too scared to go home and that she was in trouble. The poor kid was murdered days later. She made it sounds like it was about school but I think it was much worse.

Interesting to note that the recent edition (16th November) advertises Holiday activities at PCYC.

Interesting to note PCYC often takes young offenders for rehabilitation. They also encourage suvivors of sexual abuse to attend their programs. Worrisome combination,

"Nothing to Fear, PCYC tells parents." The fact that this article was run raises eyebrows!!!

I can't believe Facebook did not release data in initial stages of investigation. Given TT stupid enough to delete incriminating messages (which aren't actually deleted ;)) I wonder what other incriminating messages will be released. Burnt phone? How stupid are these people!
 
^ Given that we have no evidence that Rick interfered with Tia ... What if Rick came down very heavily on Trent on the Thursday night and Tia tried to physically intervene out of loyalty?

The Rock Spiders like to infiltrate organisations that have access to, or involve activities with children.
They'll join church groups and scout groups and grandparents groups (as seen with persons of interest in the William Tyrrell disappearance).
I don't necesssarily think the PCYC is some kind of haven for the beasts.
They do great work in getting kids off the streets IMO

Money will not bring Tiahleigh back but I kind of hope that her mother sues docs. They have well and truly not done the right thing by Tiahleigh. The only way to wake the government up is hitting them for cash

what if the witnesses that Trent tried to influence are the kids in that other case? i.e Trent was the one that molested them but he told them to say it was Rick?
