Noor Zahi Salman appeared in court Tuesday, looking disheveled and trembling. Prosecutors say she knew of her husband's plans. Hearing was postponed to Wednesday so one of her lawyers could arrive.

She moved from Fort Pierce with her son last year back to Southern California and has moved several times since then, trying to avoid media attention. In December, she filed a petition to change the boy's name, Zakariaya Omar Mateen.

judge is expected to rule on whether Salman should be released or held in custody until her next hearing.

She will be extradited to Central Florida to face charges.

[FONT=&amp]A federal judge in Orlando on Thursday stayed a California judge's decision to grant bail to the wife of Pulse nightclub shooter Omar Mateen.

[FONT=&amp]The stay granted by U.S. District Judge Paul G. Byron means that Noor Salman, 30, will not be freed on $500,000 bail on Friday as planned. The ruling sets up a schedule for briefings to argue the matter. Prosecutors sought the stay and a review of the California proceedings with the Florida court, which has original jurisdiction in the case.

Orlando nightclub shooting victims to receive nearly $8.5M

This award will reimburse victim services costs for operation of the Family Assistance Center in the immediate aftermath of the shooting, and ensure that victims, witnesses and first responders receive necessary services to help them adjust in the aftermath of violence, begin the healing process and cope with probable re-traumatization,” Marilyn McCoy Roberts, the office’s acting director, said in a statement.

Report reveals dramatic new details from Orlando nightclub massacre
The sight of so many injured people lying on the dance floor after the Pulse nightclub attack in Orlando led one officer to ask patrons, “If you’re alive, raise your hand,” according to a new report from police.

The report reveals nearly half of the 49 victims in the mass shooting last June died on the dance floor without a chance to react or run for help. Another 13 died in bathrooms while waiting for help during a three-hour hostage standoff.

Pulse nightclub owner calls massacre site 'sacred ground'
The Florida gay nightclub that was the site of the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history will become a memorial and museum to comfort the bereaved now and educate future generations about the importance of tolerance, the club's owner said Thursday.

(...)

Poma offered few concrete details about what the memorial will look like, how much it will cost and what the timeline will be for building it. But she said the design and content of the memorial will be decided by survivors of the massacre, family members of those killed, first responders, and the doctors and nurses who treated the victims, as well as the greater Orlando community.

Next Monday on ID Channel, 10 p.m. Eastern 9 p.m. central - TV show - "The real story with Maria Elena Salinas" will cover Pulse and interviews.

The show tonight was very powerful.

It included interviews with three friends that were survivors in the men's bathroom, and also Luis, the man who had a two month relationship with the shooter.

Luis believes that the reason for the shootings was because he was previously exposed to HIV from another man from Pulse at Latin night, and wanted revenge.
