It's a bizarre case, to say the least, but there have been a number of cases where kidnapper and victim were seen together buying things, or going public places, kidnapper allowed victim to go out by him or herself, etc.
And never mind a recent case in US, which was so strange that police even declared it a hoax. Turns out it was an actual kidnapping.
So I am not assuming just because it's bizarre, it isn't real.
 
He gave her chocolates and panties?
Early report she was shackled to chest of drawers but now she and the kidnapper slept together in the same bed. OK.

Correct but in these cases the victim only gets taken out in public after months of intense conditioning. Not after a few days!
 
This is the first time I've ever heard of releasing someone and giving the kidnap victim thirty days to pay a fee. Ransom on a payment plan?

I can't help but be curious as to what shoes she wore while shoe shopping? It's hard for me to visualize her going barefoot into a boutique to shop.

IF this is a hoax... it's so sad -- because genuine human trafficking is horrifying and vile.
 
This reeks of a bad movie script. I cannot possibly believe this was legit if the detail reported are all correct.

This is my oppinion, not looking for a time out again, please let me know if what I said/say is not allowed
 
I think this is a lot of bs costing the police a lot of men hours and $$$$$, Take a look at her pictures on the Daily Mail - she looks like an escort not a model - if it was me, I would not have looked for publicity or at least I would have dressed very conservatively for the interviews.....
 
If this IS a hoax, they should be duct taped together and thrown in jail. I saw this on CNN (so it has to be true, right? lol) and was shocked. After reading the statistics in post #11, I could believe human trafficking occurred on this large of a scale. So unbelievably tragic! At the very least, they should required to do some type of public service to help REAL victims of this horrible crime. But if this is a hoax then I'm sure they're incapable of helping others; they're are obviously sick people. Rant over, and all moo, but this really kind of po'd me off. (I could NOT believe...not could)

Denise Huskins and Sherri Papini, while we questioned if it was a hoax, they both werent skipping through their front yard smiling while talking to reporters about being kidnapped

It didn't take long for victims in original Stockholm case to develop Stockholm syndrome.

But they weren't brought shoe shopping in the middle of it nor were they threatened with sex trafficking - they simply wouldn't testify.

Shoes are expensive in Milan, the picture shows the "Stuart Weitzman" store, if he bought her shoes there, or anywhere in that shopping district of Milan, he paid hundreds for a pair of shoes to replace her sneakers, which is a nice gesture for a kidnapper, I guess, along with the chocolates and panties.
