Sievers Sidebar #5

Cute outfit. Orange is his color

LOL, good one human! Yeah,

Orange IS his color but it's soooo last year. And soooo this year, the next and for sooooooo many years to come. Timeless.

That green frock from early 2016 looked better on the hanger but it did make a statement. Jimmy wore it better though.

Defense lawyers are doing what they do best when a client pays them for their services and that is defending their client and twisting the facts around to clear their clients.. No surprise there. The documents and digital evidence paint the true story that Mark was involved and he will rot soon enough. So sad that instead of walking away , Mark chose to take control of his wife's life that night . One night Mark was in total control and he took that risk so he could be in totally in charge instead of the 50-50 that healthy marriages have. JMO

I get angry at so many cases but this one hit me hard. My kitchen layout is the same as the Sievers and I still feel weird about walking by the pantry door. TS had no way of defending herself and for Mark planning the attack the way he did shows he is no man. What type of person would like to inflict so much terror and pain in defenseless woman, that would be evil and Mark is a monster. JMO

I take my dogs to the dog park across the street and I used to live around the block from them. I agree about the energy. Its the biggest house on the block, but the block is kind of depressed. Unkept. Its been 2 years since anyone has lived there, but its so rundown. The whole block is depressing. I dont know if it was like this when she lived there, because I had no reason to go down that street, but I would have thought she would have lived in a nicer neighborhood.

Since I just returned from spending my weekend near the Sievers' home, I will again defend this neighborhood! I don't get it!! It is a "working class" neighborhood and it is full of GOOD, hardworking people who take pride in their homes and yards. They are doing work on the home nextdoor...I think a pool, so there is a hill of dirt and a backhoe out front. There are a couple of eyesores down the block...not bad, just cluttered, but most homes are well taken care of. I left and had 3 immediate neighbors wave as they were out tending to their lawns or gardening. Will have to video the block next time & post. I'm really at a loss at what you see. Sorry, I take offense to this as this neighborhood has been through enough!!

Anytime! Here is another one:

Prosecutor calls in an additional witnesses, who are experts in forensic entomology:

Forensic entomology...to confirm or dispute time of death. Lots of variables to consider, inside/outside, house temperature, whether or not the bungling burglars left doors open, etc? Hmmm, or was it possible to also lower the temperature of the house via phone, or pre-program it...
remotely, like the NEST thermostat app on a cell phone? (With all the break-ins being reported, it wouldn't surprise me if someone attempted to introduce an alternate t.o.d and other possible perps & motives.)

Any word re Mary's custody request to move to CT?!?!?! Praying for the ppl of Florida to keep safe from Irma. Pray for Oregon as well, too many wildfires with raining ash in the portland metro area... :(

Is LE moving any prisioners to a safer location, as they did in Texas? Not knowing how the hurricane will hit, are the three being relocated along with others?

MSJOSIE I was just thinking about the same question. So did a little digging:
http://www.tallahassee.com/story/ne...own-irma-evacuations-not-ruled-out/637906001/
There were 10,639 prisoners housed in the facilities potentially impacted by Irma, state prison data shows. As a security precaution, Gandy said any inmate evacuations will be announced after they are completed.
(Which makes perfect sense NOT to announce transfers in advance.)
"As of right now, we've instructed everyone to prepare inmates and the facilities just like you would at home," she said.
PS Thankfully is Florida on top of the massive hurricane/safety measures....I can't even imagine. Will be following closely... check in often and let us know what is happening.

"The journal entries were included in over 700 pages of Mark Sievers’ phone records released Wednesday by the State Attorney’s Office as part of a public records request."

This article was from May. Did I miss a Doc Dump here?

On another note, I hope everyone local to this case is safe and sound (well, except maybe 3 of them).

Is it odd that when I heard about Hurricane Irma hitting near where MS is housed, I automatically wondered (hoped) if he would get washed away with the waters? I guess not but I did read they evacuated some of the prisons down there. I apologize if this has already been discussed, I didn't see anything when I quickly glanced over.
