UK - Bucket Bomb terror attack on London Underground, 15 Sept 2017

Rush hours should be eliminated. I remember the time when I lived in London, during rush hours it was standing room only in the tube. Terrible. Flexible working and opening hours of businesses, offices, banks, schools, doctors, etc might help thin out the crowds in the morning and early evening that these people love to attack. 9-5 could be extended to 7-11pm, perhaps? Spread out the commuters over more hours to lower the risk.

I think they know his name , or they would have put out his pic and asked public for help

My daughter is in London taking part in London Fashion week...ive pleaded with her to come home..shes refusing saying then there winning...shes there all weekend..my anxiety is sky high.

thinking of those affected....

They are talking about cell phone tracking.

Do cell phones let anyone track anyone?

In triangulating a cell phone in like a murder they have the number --what do they mean when they say there using cell phone tracking?

[h=1]Parsons Green: How will police track down the attacker?[/h]

The amount of work that confronts detectives on a day like this is enormous. Hundreds of officers were immediately put on the investigation, with clear goals. These are:

  • Who did it?
  • Are there more devices?
  • Who else, if anyone, was involved?
  • How was the device made?
So let's start with that fourth question and work backwards. The people in charge of the investigation into the bomb are scientists from the Forensic Explosives Laboratory.
They investigate every explosive device recovered in the UK. In 2005 they had to look at the devices left behind from the botched attacks of 21 July.
The bomb at Parsons Green was an improvised explosive device (IED) and, like those on 21/7, it didn't work as planned.

But if the attacker left before the detonation, where is he or she now?

Specialist CCTV search officers have now spent hours trying to ascertain who was carrying the distinctive Lidl freezer bag and its bulky contents on to the Tube.

At the same time, a specialist team of detectives will be following any money trail they can - an increasingly important part of any investigation.

They'll be looking at the payment cards used to enter and leave the London Underground - and they may get a match to a suspicious purchase of precursor chemicals.

Once the attacker has been spotted, the officers will then have to work out if that person was alone and where he or she came from before joining the train.

Dont know if accidental or not but SKY news used the word suspects plural??

HI !

It is my understanding that they have found him on video

That is what I've gathered from watching news coverage. I wonder why they aren't releasing info? Don't they usually give info on a suspect? I know the asswanks that is Isis took credit but I think they'll take credit for anything against anyone.

With the many many cameras they should be able to track him across a long area.

They might be watching him to see if he leads them to others?

Based on trumps tweets I believe they know exactly who it is. I trust they're doing everything in their power to get him.

The general public getting a description of the suspect could lead to totally innocent people being attacked which isn't helpful.

"Deputy Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu, Senior National Co-ordinator for Counter Terrorism Policing, said: 'We have made a significant arrest in our investigation this morning. Although we are pleased with the progress made, this investigation continues and the threat level remains at critical.

'The public should remain vigilant as our staff, officers and partners continue to work through this complex investigation. We are not, at this time, changing our protective security measures and the steps taken to free up extra armed officers remain in place.

'This arrest will lead to more activity from our officers. For strong investigative reasons we will not give any more details on the man we arrested at this stage.'

"Defiant Londoners refusing to be cowed by yesterday's tube station bombing are determined to stay calm and carry on.

Despite 'critical' terror threat level being declared, the capital is returning to normality in the wake of the cowardly attack at Parsons Green.

People were pictured this morning leaving going to and from the station, which re-opened early this morning.

Emma Spear, a barista at the District cafe just below the railway bridge, witnessed the stampede out of the station."

ISIS you can claim responsibility for attacks but you will never defeat us.

Hi CARIIS Dover is nearly 80 miles from London it's a costal town which is a port for ferries going to France and mainland Europe. I went there by coach to go to Paris on a High School school trip in 1997.

I will be very surprised if he acted alone.
