UK - Peter Connelly, 17 mos, brutally murdered, London, 3 Aug 2007

Well Connelly has been busy.... These are from February:

A source told The Sun: "Authorities believe she was uploading images of herself and trying to flog them — possibly to sick perverts getting a kick out of her notoriety.

"It doesn’t get any more depraved than this. She clearly wasn’t ready to be released into the community."

Last year Connelly demanded the council give her a bigger house as she "suffered" with the loss of her son.

The mother of Baby P is planing to move in with a woman convicted of an appalling sex attack once both are released from jail, it was reported today.
Tracey Connelly formed a close bond with Toni Hewitson while both were serving time at HMP Low Newton in Durham and would reportedly 'sneak off to each other's cells'.
Despite being separated when they were moved to different prisons, they have kept in touch through letters and are hoping to set up a home together soon.

That sums it up nicely. Everyone in the justice system should be quite proud of what they have accomplished so far with these two. Not to mention the bonus of Toni Hewitson. I hope LE is watching the two of them-why do I think there is some kind of child *advertiser censored*/fetish *advertiser censored* in their future and what if that was part of the Baby P thing all along?

Huge case over here in London, and social workers are still scarred to go into child protection cause of it. Another huge case which changed child protection was Victoria climbe. Not sure if this case is posted on here. Horrifying child abuse

I am very familiar with Victoria's case. Heartbreaking.

Baby P’s mother Tracey Connelly could be freed by Christmas if she can convince a Parole Board she is no longer a danger to the public.

Connelly was originally jailed in 2009 for letting her lover and his brother torture 17-month-old Peter to death in Haringey, North London.

I am outraged by this. This woman should be serving life. Please join me in writing to the parole board to keep her locked up.

Don't bother. A British parole board will not take the slightest bit of notice of letters from people unconnected to the case.

I still remember the Maria Colwell case, 1973 and it will not ever happen again. But it does.

Parole denied

“A spokesman for the Parole Board told MailOnline: 'We can confirm that a panel of the Parole Board has not directed the release of Tracey Connelly.

'Under current legislation Ms Connelly will be eligible for a further review within two years. The date of the next review will be set by the Ministry of Justice.'
Connelly is currently in HMP Low Newton, County Durham, having been moved from HMP Styal in Cheshire.

Is she still in gaol or awaiting her next parole hearing?

Baby P's mum will spend Christmas in jail as parole board decision put back

A source says the parole board has asked for 'more information about the psychological assessments' Tracey Connelly has been taking and the mum of tragic Baby P faces now Christmas in jail.

Baby P's mum will spend Christmas in jail as parole board decision put back

I’m glad she will be in jail for Christmas but I can’t believe there is the possibility of her being released in January or ever.

Baby P mum to be released from jail 13 years after case that shocked Britain

The Parole Board decision over Tracey Connelly, the mother of tragic Baby P, who suffered more than 50 injuries at the hands of her partner Steven Barker and his paedophile brother Jason Owen, came this morning

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/breaking-baby-p-mum-released-26590336

This is absolutely outrageous but I suspected it would happen. We need laws in the UK that if you abuse a child or knowingly allow a child to be abused you should be in jail for a full life term till you die. The sentences being given out for the murder of children who have died due to inhumane torture and multiple injuries are far too lenient.

The mother of Baby P, who died after months of abuse, could be freed from prison after the Parole Board decided she should be released.
Tracey Connelly was jailed at the Old Bailey in 2009 for causing or allowing the death of her 17-month-old son Peter at their home in Tottenham, north London, in 2007.
Known publicly as Baby P, he had suffered more than 50 injuries.
Connelly admitted the offence and was jailed for a minimum of five years.
This is Connelly's fourth review by the Parole Board since she was jailed. The decision was meant to be made last year but had been delayed for more reports and information.
Connelly was let out on licence in 2013 but was recalled to prison in 2015 for breaching her parole conditions.

Baby P: Mother Tracey Connelly approved for prison release

BABY P's twisted mum could be kept locked up after Dominic Raab demanded that her release be reviewed.

Tracey Connelly, 40, was set to be freed within weeks after winning her fourth bid for parole.

But the Justice Secretary said her evil crimes were so "harrowing" the Parole Board should look again at their decision.

He told the Commons: "I should inform the House that having carefully read the decision, I have decided to apply to the Parole Board to seek their reconsideration."

I hope this review is successful in keeping her locked up.

It's an outrage of course. She should have spent the rest of her life in prison
<<< sigh >>>

Another despicable crime was the starvation death of little Tiffany Wright some years ago in England. The mother, who partied downstairs in the bar she owned with her husband, left Tiffany alone upstairs to get weaker and die.
She was sentenced to 12 years and released in four, in 2014. Unbelievable.

Killer mother freed just four years in 12-year sentence
