That’s very interesting I haven’t heard that yet the only issue I have is that the girl taken from North Babylon on America ave the guy she lived said she set up a date with him for $1000 or so and left the house. Now if you go to cases of interest that forum there was a guy impersonating a cop at a hotel in Long Island where apreantly escorts frequently work, I wonder what he was doing there? Black male in his 40s fits the profile to a extent to me.

True but In order for them to go whit him on those terms I do belive he at least saw them once or twice.

Now some one is trying to put blame on our African-American brothers - LOL. I think you might get more mileage out of it if they blamed it on the Jews - LOL.

BTW - for you history buffs. When Son of Sam was arrested the Jewish lobby went crazy and planted stories in the newspapers ( mostly the NY Post) that Berkowitz was adopted from a family with an Italian name. But they left ALL the details out.
 
The FEDS recently arrested a guy in a case not involving sex crimes when he should have been arrested by the DA (Suffolk/Nassau), mostly Suffolk. This guy is as good as any person mentioned on this website

Are you saying this guy, arrested by the FBI, might be involved or a POI in the LISK related crimes?

Are we referring to lisk or the Manorville butchers also keep in mind Suffolk PD reputation for telling the truth isn’t that great.
 
Check out the latest news out of the Wappinger Falls/ Poughkeepsie area. Similar MO as LISK, young petite woman found in a creek. It will be interesting to know her cause of death. The mere fact the State Police are stopping locals to ask about ‘suspicious vehicles’ in the area suggests to me her body was dumped there. Even more interesting, there is a connection between LI/Manorville with this area: Jessica Taylor.

how do you know so much about the manners case? are you a relative or friend?
 
I know several people involved in this case. IMHO, Christopher just didn't do it. Why did her best friend Wendy Carr disappear? There are many things wrong with the case.

YES! - The OPERATIVE word is MIGHT. He was arrested for something entirely unrelated to a sex crime when it appears the charges he was arrested for should have been charged by the DA. Information received by me (unconfirmed) is this person brought troubled gals to Gilgo and raped one of them in a hot tub. She preferred charges against him for rape and he was never charged. He is in a position to prey on woman. The question some are asking is after he gets through with them who gets second dibs on the -
 
Somewhat OT

Just wanted to thank everyone for the continued interest in this case. I read here often because I grew up in the Long Island area. I never made it to the beach involved with LISK but I did go to Jones Beach a lot and Montauk Point area so I am somewhat familiar with the geography of the area and it makes reading about this case all the more interesting.

Thanks to everyone for all the interesting information. I still have a lot ot learn about this case and I should read that book mentioned back a bit.
 
One issue that bothers me to this day is the matter of the lividity on Jessica's body. I think the defense lawyer missed that one despite the fact he is one of the best lawyers on LI. - you can't think of everything.

Jessica was found FACE DOWN. I am told a good portion, if not all was found on her back. The process usually doesn't begin for at least 20-25 minutes.

One doesn't have to be Sherlock Holmes to determine that where the body was fond is NOT where the person was killed and then moved.

How did the girl in question get home?
 
Postmortem lividity. Also known as livor mortis, this is caused by the pooling and settling of blood within the blood vessels from the effect of gravity. It appears as a purple discoloration of the skin. During life, the pumping action of the heart maintains a constant flow of blood through the numerous vessels of the body. Upon death, this pumping action ceases, and the blood pools within the dependent portions of the body. The location of livor mortis is determined by the position of the body after death. If the body is lying face down, livor will develop on the front of the body rather than on the back. The observation of lividity is important for two reasons:

It gives the investigator a general idea how long the body has been dead;
It tells you definitely whether or not the body was moved after death.

For example, if lividity is observed on the back of the body found lying face down, you can be sure that the body had originally been on its back. Lividity begins about 30 minutes after death with full development after 3 to 4 hours and becomes "fixed" in 8 to 10 hours. Fixed means that the livor has settled in one position for more than 8 hours and can no longer be significantly shifted by changing the position of the body. However, parts of the body that remain in direct contact with an object, such as the floor, a piece of pipe or wood, or even the weapon, will remain white, as the pressure will not allow the blood to settle into the dependent capillaries.
 
He probably took her home. I believe we know who carried out the transportation part of it. This guy picked the gals up and dropped them off. It doesn't mean ALL gals were picked up and dropped off by the same person.
