Australia - 7 dead in mass shooting and suicide - Osmington WA - 11 May 2018

I think that it means when funds were low, she raided their wallets.

This says to me the ex is desperate to paint a bad picture dead people.

The ex says he was a builder but I am pretty sure he is just a labourer of sorts.

If you have no money, plenty people raid piggy banks.

I came to that conclusion too.

Btw, from the edited transcript:
Taye’s a beautiful girl. The last thing Taye said to me was when she came up and asked if I could get her some new Rossi boots.

As her father, why not just buy you're daughter the pair of shoes she's asked you to buy for her, instead of dragging it out with giving little bits of cash for children's wallets and then publicly shaming deceased mum.

All the ex behavior sounds very psychopathic. Manipulation, stalking.

I know break ups can be argumentative.

Psychopaths can be so mentally disabling of people.

While he said her family cut him off, the only entity can cut him off is the court with good reason.

He has lied to the media.

I dare say the text messages between the ex and the daughter along with the 000 call will be telling.

Maybe these details will be in the transcript.

Psychopaths have many faces which seem very normal to the everyday person in a social environment.

We were told by law enforcement that Claremont killer had a good job and blends in with community.

We dont see what goes on behind the scenes.

Media initially reported text messages and requests of removal posted on social media which is indicitive of what was going under a court order.

For Morris, one nightly ritual sums up the man she adored, and who is now the focus of a multiple homicide investigation. Each night, Peter would go to Rylan and comfort him as he struggled to settle.
“Who do you know that would go down and cradle his autistic grandson in bed every night because he was in so much pain—and talk to him until he had gone to sleep?” she says.
“He was the most loving, gentle man you could meet. That’s why we can’t fathom what happened. It’s just such a shock.”

Mr Miles has shot his daughter, his four kids and his wife.

Not the rest his family.

While his ex son inlaw sits on the boundary of the property.

This appears a dispute between Mr miles and his daughters kids father

A 'blow up' as the ex husband called it

Have I missed an update? It wasn't until after Aaron Cockman's statement to media that police made it clear that they didn't actually know who had fired the gun.

Has there been new information directly from police since monday, or are media still reporting their own assumptions as fact?

Police say it will be months before they can confirm exactly who was responsible for the deaths.

The children's father Aaron Cockman has laid the blame squarely on his former father-in-law.

Has a police source released the identity of the person who made the 000 call? Or are journalists still making assumptions about that too? Because I haven't seen anything yet - directly from WApol - saying the grandfather made the call, all the quotes are worded like this :

Western Australia Police Commissioner Chris Dawson said police received a call at 5.15am Friday from a “male person” connected to the property.

They have also stated there are six homicide victims on the property so while they are directly not saying his name it is kinda said without saying it for investigation reasons I would assume. Moo

I think that the 'confirm' part means forensic confirmation of what they already know. I think that they have stated that the ex husband is not a suspect.

I really don't like the canonisation of this man who murdered 6 members of his family. He was not a good father or grandfather when he murdered his wife, daughter and grandchildren.
He was depressed over a son who died 15 years previously and then he does this? Where does that leave his surviving son?
I think that he was a selfish, controlling man.

“I saw Taye walking along and she asked for money for shoes. Kat said she used all the little bit of money they had in their wallets.
“I said ‘look’ and gave them all $10 each and gave Taye $20 and said, ‘Keep this in your wallet.’ I know they never spend it but it is just them knowing they had $10 in their wallet.
“I think Kayden had $10 in his wallet for months. It’s just knowing they had their own little bag, wallet there,” he added.

BBM Is AC inferring that Katrina used up all the money the children had in their wallets?
With him adding "I know they never spend it".

She actually asked him for Rossi boots.

He's a builder so he'd know full well that amount of money wouldn't even come close to getting his daughter her Rossi's - not even if she took all of the money he gave her brothers as well.

Poor kid must've grown out of her old ones. They're sturdy farm boots - they can take decades to wear out.

No, we don't know. We don't know a lot of things, but they could have taken a restraining order out on him rather than the grandfather shooting them all.

You will find there was already a court order.

As stated before, if he had done nothing wrong they cant aquire an AVO.

Some men play this game mid seperation. They know the law sitting there taunting people.
The daughter had posted publicly if you see him, please ring the ranger so they didnt know where he was.

Mental illness has people delusional. (You have blokes with samurai swords taking on police with guns pointed) Stalking them does not help.

Its very easy to make clisms after the matter but a quick call to police would have the firearms removed as soon as a psychiatric assessment had been done. If the neighbour knew of mental instability, police would know.

There is so much weirdness to this case.

I dont think he is a builder per se with a builders registration. I think this is a media generalisation.

Has anyone the transcript of the media statement of thr ex husband.

From what I've read, I think that some that knew PM are very much struggling with the possibility that the man they knew may of committed this atrocity, not canonisation imo

His company ABN is listed with Carpentry in the title. So, like many, he may just not have a builders licence but still does many smaller building odd jobs like decks etc.
I just found his interview was all about "look at me what I was a great dad."

So he is an ogre for not giving his daughter enough money to buy boots? But the grandfather who killed her, is being portrayed as the best grandfather in the world?

I am sure that he was not a good dad. Those children had neither a good dad or good grandfather.

No requirement for qualification in the state of WA to operate as a carpenter. You can buy a hammer tomorrow and call yourself a chippy but go calling yourself a builder can get you in hot water with the Building Commission.

Now the initial statement by media is a loose generalisation that has come around by people who don't understand the building industry at least in WA.

Start a business calling yourself s landscape architect and see how long you last.
