I don't know about these things, but could they really take evidence in a murder 1 case to Kinko's to make copies? I would think it would be better to keep that kind of stuff inhouse, and I can see them not having a special copier that makes those size copies. I was wondering why they couldn't just take a photo of it, then Baez brought it up.

I dunno but there absolutely was a look of excitement and she was all smiles when JB leaned over close to her as they wrapped up. Like some creepy reassurance that he was there to 'protect' her.

The SA wanted her there so she couldn't have an excuse for an appeal for a retrial

She is required to appear at each and every court hearing unless she specifically writes a letter for that hearing saying she doesn't want to be there

So if she has a hearing on 1/11 then she has to write a letter for 1/11 saying she doesn't want to be there-----then if she has a hearing on 1/15 she has to write another letter saying she doesn't want to be there

So a letter for each and every court hearing is mandatory

She kept her eye on him while he was speaking and I think that was so she could stay focused and not look like "so what". The smile at the end however was sickening.

ITA...plus their apparent reluctance to undertake to do all they could to acommodate the defence re Dr. Lee`s visit to Florida. Even if they didn`t plan to, they should have pretended they would try. Having to make the defence perhaps pay to have the expert brought to town when it can be possibly avoided is wrong, IMO. I just think she could have said, ``I understand, and will do all I can to get him the documents by then, however, I can`t promise that I will be able to do so` Though I have no sympathy for KC, I want to see her not only get a fair trial, but that there is the appearance that she is getting a fair trial and being prosecuted fairly.

Ok, this is a long thread. can someone please tell me what all was said about D. Casey and his interview with LE? Did they say when this occurred? Did anything else come out about the PI situation? Thanks in advance if you have the info and can save me pages of speculation about wheither the defendant was pregnant or not and the size of her nose.
 
Not only has casey's nose grown longer, her ears look a lot like Spock's..*chuckle*

I think she looks like hell

It was reported that the skeleton was inside one trash bag with a second trash bag wrapped around the outside...... hummmm .... like maybe a hole had gotten into the first bag so it was doubled from the outside

I suspect that both JB and BC agreed that the A's were told of her appearance but were told NOT to come to court. They wanted to avoid any outbursts from any of the A's. I think the texting was a heads up to them so they could watch either HLH or any of the live video feeds.

I always pick the table closest to the jurors, but for a hearing, it does not matter. Conway is a member of the Bar and was obviously invited to sit with today's litigants, nothing wrong with that at all. Members of the Bar get to go passed the visitor section and sit up front (even in the Jurors seats), even if they are not involved in the scheduled hearing.

I always hear that the court system in Louisiana is different from anywhere else...but here in AZ there are definitely "assigned" tables and attorneys not involved in the hearing sit behind the bench with the rest of the riff-raff. ;) Not sure how it is in Florida.
