FL FL - Tiffany Heaven Daniels, 25, Pensacola State College, 12 Aug 2013

Welcome Sophiafox! Why are the gulf and sound sides so different?

That article is mostly interesting to me because it says her car was NOT parked there the entire 9 days. So, let's say she did hike or go on the beach and had an accident it would seem like the car would have been there the entire time.

From this link:

""We didn't have any developments until a friend of mine was out for a bike ride yesterday and found the car parked at the very last public parking lot at Pensacola Beach," Daniels' sister, Angela Huntsinger, told The Huffington Post.

In a press release, police confirmed that the Toyota 4Runner belonged to Daniels. An intensive search around the area has begun.

According to Huntsinger, the car appeared undamaged, and investigators found that it contained her sister's bicycle, cell phone and other personal belongings.

"A neighbor that lives in a condominium across the street [from the parking lot] said that car was definitely not there two days ago," Huntsinger said."

So, she was last seen Aug 12...what day exactly was her car found here? This article is dated Aug. 21, sorry if I'm missing this....

Here's an article dated Aug. 11: Swimmer washes ashore, obviously not Tiffany since she was s
http://www.pnj.com/article/DP/20130811/NEWS09/130811001/Swimmer-washes-ashore-unconscious-at-Pensacola-Beach?odyssey=obinsite

"Rough surf and dangerous rip currents have posed problems for swimmers all weekend. Yesterday, lifeguards rescued or assisted 102 swimmers on Pensacola Beach, Dave Greenwood, the Pensacola Beach public safety water supervisor said.

Today is the fourth consecutive day of yellow flags at the beach-goers are urged to swim with extra caution."

*Since a swimmer washed up unconscious just previously "near the Casino Beach Boardwalk", maybe they should check this area, if they're not already? Sounds like a visible and public area, though...

Also, from this link:

"Also, about twenty minutes from the beach. Thirty minutes prior if there is traffic.
There is not really public transport, though I have a car that I may be able to drive you around in.
I am pretty flexible otherwise."

"I am about to go on a bike trip through the keys with my fellow"

"Today at the beach I came to the conclusion that it is good to bring something like a Frisbee,... two paddles and a ball etc. with you when your heading to the beach. Even if you don't speak the same language with someone frisbee has its own."

"Tiffany took me out to a bike ride all the way from her house to the beach and Fort Pickens. We had so much fun, even though a bird pooped on her arm and shoulder :D oh and I really really really like going to the vegan restaurant, too. "

"You know when you're a kid and your parents tell you not to talk to strangers, not to ride your bike too far from home, not to talk to the "crazies"? Well I'm super glad that neither Tiffany nor I listened to them "

*so, she frequented this location and hosted at this location.

So, she could have been at the beach, had a swimming accident, or maybe witnessed someone drowning, tried to help, or has possibly been met with foul play either at the beach (her car wasn't parked there though before, right?) or via this couchsurfing business or maybe something else personally related.

Seems like a great, young lady. Hoping for her safe return.
