Nevada Highway Patrol - Amber Alert

Unknown black man suspected of a carjacking a 2012 maroon Nissan Altima NV# 92F424 at 2:17 pm on July 6, 2017. Last seen traveling Northbound on Pyramid Highway 445 from the Nugget Casino.

Thin mustache
Wearing a dark blue shirt with a Dallas Cowboys emblem on the front and baggy blue jean shorts.

A 75-year-old woman had parked her car when she was approached by a black man. Police say the suspect had a handgun and demanded money and the car keys from the woman. The woman gave him the items and said that she noticed a child standing near the suspect. When the woman got out of her car, she says the man told the child to get into the car. The victim says that she believes the child and man may have had a relationship based on the interaction between them, but that has not been confirmed.

If anyone has information as to the identity of the child, the suspect or their location, contact the Sparks PD or Secret Witness at 775-322-4900.

This is interesting. So an Amber Alert was issued even though there's a strong chance the unknown child is with her (criminal) parent.

I am locsl in Sparks and amber alert didn't cone over until after 10 pm on my phone last night. Major interstates, they could of been out of state easily in that time frame

The child is described as a black female with her hair in pig tails and about 8 years of age. The child was wearing a dark yellow dress, and appeared scared, according to police.

The suspect instructed the child to get into the car and drove north on Pyramid Highway, police say.

I imagine she was frightened. No matter her relationship to the perp, being present where that person pulls a gun on and robs and elderly woman has to be a frightening experience.

So, a guy and a little girl are at a casino parking lot. They clearly have no car because otherwise why would they carjack one? It's of significant concern that no one has reported the little girl missing, and there was no mommy around during the carjacking. I'm wondering if the mommy was harmed and now the man is on the run. He could be her dad, uncle, mom's BF...

Is there a recent missing woman from the area? Did she have a little 6-9 year old daughter who is now also missing?

Maybe they switched cars. Did police check the parking lot for a vehicle that's been parked there ever since this carjacking?

I looked at the jersey several times knowing that #22 is Smith but to me it doesn't look like that. #28 would most likely be Darren Woodson. I'm wondering if it's a personalized jersey that he had made and most likely has his own first or last name on it.

Doh just saw it was definitely a Cowboys jersey. Maybe Demarco Murray? Think he was 29. Or could be Ezekiel Elliot? If it's a Woodson jersey, that's old!
