After listening/reading/watching the interview, this part stood out to me a little as he is very concerned on how WA districts are divided, this leads me to believe he abducted victims/disposed/committed crimes pretty much all over the state of WA, either abducted and disposed of victims in far away locations, I wonder if he is concerned where he left the bodies based on location if they are left somewhere "in the middle" of the state, is Ellensburg important or surrounding areas?

Ellensburg just going to google map it, i wonder if it is a built up area or more rural. He could have used this as a burial ground if it is the latter.

I had been waiting for the specific geographic threads to be set up before posting these notes I made. I think it's just as important to eliminate those missing persons who are 'very unlikely a victim of IK' from those that are "very possibly or possibly a victim of IK".

I looked though the list of Missing Person’s on the Washington State Patrol website to see if any jumped out at me as potential IK victims. I rated each one as to likelihood. In the end, they all seem like pretty unlikely victims. (Interestingly, the person who I've come across so far as the most likely IK victim in WA, Delmar Sample, isn't on the WSP website list.)

Rachael Anderson – Apr 6/10 – Not a victim. Her estranged husband is on trial now.

Danica Childs – Dec 21/07 – unlikely. City girl last known at drug spot. (Please help find this young girl!)

Edith Claver - Dec 25/09 - Not a victim. IK in Florida on a cruise.

Kelsey Collins - May 9/09 - Unlikely. Missing from home.

Misty Copsey - 1992. Not a victim. Too early.

Kayla Croft-Payne - Apr 20/10 - Unlikely. No sign of IK in WA state at that time.

Ronald Frye - 1993 - Very unlikely. Too early.

Angela Gilbert - Jun 2/11 - Unlikely. Went for a walk with a guy and she didn’t come back. The guy came back without her so people generally suspected him. He was found drowned a little while later, before LE could question him further.

Jamie Grissim - 1971. Not a victim. Too early

Bryce Herda - Apr/95 - Very unlikely. Too early and victim only 6 years old at time. (From Neah Bay)

Heather Higgins - Sept 2010 - Unlikely. Doesn’t seem like IK’s MO.

Richard Ingram - May 5/09 - Unlikely. Missing from Fort Lewis. Suicidal? IK likely not in area.

Tyler Inman - 1982 - Not a victim. Too early.

Lenoria Jones - Very unlikely. Too early and a city girl from Tacoma.

Ruthie Kindness - Feb/11 - Unlikely. Not IK’s MO. (missing from suburban Parkland – lifestyle issues)

Jeffrey Klungness - Mar/96. Unlikely. Too early.

Patti Krieger - Oct/10. Very unlikely. Likely her boyfriend.

Katya Lyne - Mar/97 - Unlikely. Fairly early and a city girl.

Cecil Mann - Sep/12 - Not a victim. Too late.

Loukthayoth Phiangdae - Feb/96 - Unlikely. Too early.

Joseph Pichler - Jan/06 - Unlikely. Likely committed suicide.

Robin Putnam - Jul/12. Not a victim. Too late.

Christopher Virdell - Feb/12 – Not a victim. IK known to be elsewhere.

Molly Waddington - Mar/12 - Not a victim. Too late.

Darci Warde - 1990 - Not a victim. Too early.

Eugene Wekesa - Nov/10 - Unlikely. Doesn’t fit IK’s MO. EW went to mall and never came back.

Please post a comment if you think I've misjudged any of these cases. Some of the 'missing from the city' and involved in drugs cases I thought were unlikely, as IK tended to troll in smaller towns and rural areas. That doesn't preclude IK from having a victim in the city or killing someone in the sex trade.

This might be a long shot, but since I don't see a definite location for IK on October 27, 2008, I'm going to add it to the thread.

Along the Seward Highway, between the towering cliffs of exposed rock and the fast-icing waters of Turnagain Arm, an abandoned pickup found last month looked to be a promising lead in the search for a woman who vanished on her way to work.
But inside the green 1996 GMC, found some six miles below McHugh Creek on Oct. 31, the belongings of Sheila Kathleen McBroom, 40, remained untouched. There were no signs of foul play, nothing wrong with the car suggesting mechanical malfunction, no suicide note

McBroom made a blog post on October 26. A post on her blog made by her daughter on Oct 29 says McBroom didn't make it to work on "Monday", which would've been October 27. The article above is partially incorrect. Her truck was found on Oct 31, but the policeman stopped her on Oct 27.

I'm not laughing, BW, because I kept going back and forth to Alyssa's CPand Namus pages the other night. I finally gave up the idea because the timeline is pretty exact for that time period.

4/8 - 10/2009: Essex, VT
"Keyes checks into Handy Suites in Essex on April 8 [2009] for a two-night stay."

April 9, 2009: Keyes admitted to abducting a female victim from a state on the east coast and transported that person over multiple state lines into New York. The victim is buried in upstate New York. Investigators do not believe this victim is buried on the property Keyes owns in Constable, New York.

April 10, 2009: Keyes robbed Community Bank in Tupper Lake, New York. After the bank robbery Keyes stated he parked in a nearby campground outside of the area to wait for the emergency response vehicles to pass. He stated he sat in this campground for several hours.

4/10/2009: Tupper Lake, NY bank robbery
"He robs the Community Bank in Tupper Lake, N.Y., on April 10. "

4/2009: unknown 6
"we know that in April of 2009 he committed a homicide and the victim is buried in upstate New York. We know that."

This one I think is a good possibility, and the fact that the Army is offering a $15K reward tells me the authorities have given it serious consideration. JMO If the ME is correct, and the decedant died 5-7 months before the remains were found in October 2010, it fits because the FBI timeline has has IK "in the west" during the first half of 2010.

The medical examiner determined the woman died 5-to-7 months before the remains were found.

The most identifiable feature from the remains was a defect on the woman’s front tooth on the lower jaw.

At the NAMUS link for the skull, there is dental charting and pictures of the skull w/teeth, including a picture that shows the flaw in the front lower tooth. That flaw seems distinctive -- I hope it is listed in someone's missing profile or, if the person is not in any database, that someone will recognize that flaw.

This long drivel is to say....could this be one of IKs alias/alter egos? I think they looked similar, and IK could have been watching re-runs of "Alias Smith and Jones" as a kid. I have read that IK would go by the alias Israel Reyes or Izzy Reyes, which is simply closing the K; Heyes seems a likely next choice. And could this be a long, round-about way to Gidget?

Yes Foxfire this movie was in my day...lol.......but when the letter was sent it had a return name of only GIDGET...and the address given was some business in Vegas that had nothing what-so-ever to do with this case

Just as in Keyes suicide letter, I feel if this is IK, he probably had some deep dark reason he addressed this as "Gidget" this was only written I feel to further confuse FBI and other investigators

I live not too far from Fort Lewis. Sadly, the base has a bad rep ; there have been numerous arrests for drug use,rapes, and assaults .IDK why,but it has been going on for a long time. I don't know if this skull is connected to IK or not...he would have likely killed the victim around May of 2010 if so....jmo

ETA - If you look at the 2nd paragraph, 7th line beginning with "straight", he added the "THROUGH" in print rather than cursive, and if compared to the "THIRD" in the address on the envelope, I see much similarity. IMVHO, MOO, etc.

In the 4/12/12 interview, IK states that he made his first silencer at 14 for a .38 revolver his grandfather gave him. It didn't work perfectly but it did work. And of course, we know he perfected those skills. If the gun used to shoot Tom Wales had a replacement barrel as per the statement above, that just makes it look more like IK to me.
