They are allegations at this point I think - and I also think I am losing my mind so this may not be correct. Remember LE arrested Coe based on some incorrect information so depending on what they have ........... right, I have lost my mind ... sorry for bothering you.

IT was in the paper,another poster had a link to the article.He had trouble getting his meds after prison.Just sad.
 
If Aunt Carey is a great aunt, what does this mean in the family lineage? I can't think straight.

Even if there is no admission by AD, I believe they have something besides MAM's word. LE could eg have her on SH video surveillance handing Shaniya over to MAM out in front of the mh. I think that it's possible, we shall see.

As far as what's been released, only allegations. I think the phone records will play an important role.

Aunt Carey is Caroline Davis ......... aka Carey Lockhart-Davis as reported in the news media.

ETA: Hope this is correct because if it isn't then Aunt Carey has indeed been left out of the obituary.

Hi Everyone,

First, thank you for posting and not attacking. If you ever go out on the Internet you will see how rare it is to actually try and have a discussion without name calling. Thank you all for keeping the standards high at WS.

I have had several complaints in general about this thread. Rather than go through and try to find exact examples I would like to take moment to remind you all of a few things.

Shaniya's father is a victim here. I hope that those of you who are judging him harshly will not use every post you put up as a chance to bash him for his decision. Your opinion is welcome but I don't want to see this discussion turn into bashing of a parent who is not being charged with any crime. The punishment he will receive will be the hell he will put himself in for his decision.

When threads on websleuthes turn into nothing but bashing it really can get old fast.

This is one of the most emotionally disturbing cases many of us have ever seen. Lashing out feels like the only option sometimes. I understand this. I lash out myself. I only ask that you try to keep the discussion moving and on topic and not bogged down.

Auntie dumped Shaniya on 10/9 but that article reports BL hadn't seen Shaniya for longer than that, and I am honestly beginning to wonder exactly when he last saw her. He sure doesn't mention it, nor any occasion that he was w her or enjoyed doing something together w her. :(

And to be honest, I'm not feeling much for Aunt Carey either. What's with this odd "we didn't have that kind of relationship" and some other comments Aunt Carey has made? Heck, if my neighbor kid had marks on her, I'd be asking about them. And I for sure would be quizzing my niece about hers!

If Lockhart wasn't worried about his daughter's safety at the time, his sister said she was.

"I worried about her just as if she was mine," Carey Lockhart-Davis said. "Antionette and I never really got along because I felt as if the way she neglected her children."

And Cheyenne Lockhart says her father wasn't in either of their lives that much.

"I understand he did love her, but he wasn't always in her life," she said. "She was raised by ex-girlfriends, another child's mother in Florida; I mean other people raised her."

There appears to be a lot of interconnecton doesn't there? Do you think Caroline Davis in the obituary is Aunt Carey - I am having 2nd thoughts on that.

I have edited my post re Caroline being Aunt Carey after I read your response - what you are pointing out sure indicates that Carey is Brad's sister and it looks like she was left out of the obituary ... my apologies for making an incorrect assumption. Now why was Aunt Carey left out I wonder.

HI.....do we know if the above is correct??????? or is it that Davis is a common name..............tho very common in those parts if Brads sister has same surname as well...

also re aunt carey????? can we please work out if she IS in fact Shaniyas aunt or great aunt.......if she is another relative other than Caroline......because if it is another relative it means brads sister has been left out of obit which is not good....

confused???
