WKYT's Sabirah Rayford talked with Thorpe's mother who says she doesn't think there's any foul play involved, but she wants to know her daughter is safe.

She went on to say she noticed her daughter missing Thursday morning when she went to wake her up for school.

Thorpe is 5'6" and weighs 140 pounds with short brown hair and brown eyes. The 13 year old goes to school at West Jessamine Middle School.

ETA Adjusting to being an empty nester and having my oldest son tell me he prefers to go grocery shopping at 2 a.m. Yikes! So I am looking out for the young with hopes my son is being looked out for.

...also how dearly I miss waking up to los. He posted 4 hours before I woke up. Wanting to give back.
