i have a 16 yo girl, she also works at maccas and, like jayde, she is about to start her HSC with her goal being getting into uni to study psychology
i am really hoping jayde is cooling off the stress of HSC, family, etc and that she will soon return, but i feel like we are clutching straws here
hoping that anyone who has any info, as little as it could be, passes it on so this family could actually know something
we hope you come back, safe and sound jayde, maybe a bit embarrassed about all these fuzz in the papers, ready for the year ahead, making plans and smiling
we really hope for that

New release from Queensland police says that Jayde's bank account was accessed at 5:47pm the day she went missing.

Is there an account of what time Jayde was due to start work? I find it odd that she would have been picked up at 9pm by her father - if that's the case surely she wasn't due to start at 6pm? A three hour shift seems too short? Can anyone advise the distance between the ATM and the McDonalds Jayde worked at?

Atm is only a 5 min walk from McDonalds. The Atm is also on the main street of Gatton and on a Friday afternoon it is very busy, lots of people around, lots of teens in cars doing "laps".

It could have been a 3hr shift from 6-9 but you are required there earlier to time on, put uniform on, wash hands etc.

“Jayde’s account was accessed at the Commonwealth Bank at Railway Street at 5.45pm and 5.47pm. We are urging anyone who may have seen Jayde or the vehicle of interest at that time to contact Crime Stoppers," he said.

They say they believe the movements of the red Corolla are key to their investigation.

Just wondering out loud if another person accessed her account. Her account was used twice in short succession. From experience, the third time you enter the wrong PIN number the bank/atm keeps the card. I have a few cards and after the second unsuccessful try, I abandon the withdrawal. MOO

The other part I find hard to read is that she is the mother of the family. The glue. She wants to study psychology in University but that may mean a couple of things.. Studying out of town, chasing an OP or CSV result, exams coming up recently which require much attention, the cost of studying out of town. Teenagers have so much pressure at this time of year. MOO. PS. Gatton does have it's own Uni but I am not sure if her course is offered there.

I don't know if I have sleuthed anything but I want everything to turn out well.
 
"If anyone, any members of the community were in the Gatton township, particularly Railway Street, and they noticed a red Corolla that's been subject to previous broadcasts with the faded roof and the left hub cap missing on the rear side, that would be appreciated if they could contact Crime Stoppers as well."

Detective Acting Inspector Howard said the person used Jayde's PIN, but would not confirm who that person was.

"It proves her accounts were accessed and the two withdrawals were made but I'm unable to comment on who has accessed the accounts," he said.

He said the withdrawals were very significant to the investigation.

"Obviously the timing is very important as well and the location," he said.

"We're hopeful we might get some information via Crime Stoppers, members of the community that will lead us in a direction that will go somewhere with our investigation."

Detective Acting Inspector Howard said police would not be releasing the CCTV at this stage.

"The way the investigation is heading, we are unable to release that footage," he said.

"We have got footage of the vehicle ... and hopefully that's sufficient to go forward.

"We really appreciate the media and what you have done for us and the family, they wanted me to pass on their gratitude but I'm limited by what I can release, as you can understand.

"Without hindering or obstructing the investigation, I have to be careful what I have to say."

It has been 11 days since Jayde was last seen leaving her Gatton high school, west of Brisbane.

Detective Acting Inspector Matt Howard said a person had been caught on CCTV footage withdrawing money from her bank account at an ATM in the Gatton CBD on the day she disappeared.

"These withdrawals were done at 5:45pm and 5:47pm on Friday the 14th [August]," he said.

"[At 5.45pm] on a Friday afternoon or Friday evening, there's a good chance that someone might have been there and might have seen this vehicle or persons in and around the car and we're appealing to them to come forward.

I have a horrible feeling about this case.

What would make the police say they cannot release the footage? Trying to get someone to talk?

It was reported earlier today that they were releasing CCTV footage but they've certainly backtracked on it now. I think I know where this is headed :( JMO.
 
It's unusual to change their plan like that? Is there more than one person involved?

I'm not an expert in body language but I saw the POI leaving their lawyers office with their parents.... That was telling.
